My Body by Young the Giant. Heard it in some Miller Lite and other commercials. Good song for exercising too.
I watched all of Season 3 of East Bound and Down. It's pretty messed up, but I couldn't stop laughing. I was coughing from laughing when I heard the Requiem for a Dream reference. And Will Ferrell's character is just wrong.
Was bored out of my mind last night so I went and saw Don Jon. I thought it was pretty funny. Loved that car. So many things I can't talk about due to inappropriate content, but yeah it definitely had its moments. Some parts seemed too repetitive. Like when he's in traffic cussing at people. I'm just like that after working in DC for just a few months, but I felt it was just random and repetitive. And I completely didn't see the ending coming.
It's so cliche, but the book is a thousand times better. In fact, the book is almost a completely different story. Except for the flesh eating ghouls of course.
Yeah you and I could write a book on what's wrong with the movie. Watched Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey earlier today. It had been a LONG time since I'd seen that.
have u seen the latest trailer..
It's gonna be amazing on iMax
Yeah looks awesome. Legolas is actually my favorite character. Stoked to see him in this one.
Lord of the Rings Two Towers is on AMC. Was actually about to start the trilogy soon. Can't wait for the new Hobbit on December 13th. Actually same day as my cousin's wedding date so I gotta wait a while to see it.
The Machine?
Nah ur thinking of Rage Against the Machine. Rise Against is more punk. Honestly, when I heard their song "Savior" I thought it was Offspring cause for some reason the singer sounded like Offspring's. Right now I'm listening to Where Will We Go? by IAMDYNAMITE.
Listening to Savior by Rise Against.
I don't get the whole neg joke in here, but it's pretty lame. I listened to Don't Stop Believing by Journey and Hot for the Teacher by Van Halen on 100.7 The Bay today. Kept me awake on the drive home. Was up all last night with an Upper Respiratory Infection and then I had school from 10-1:50.
My great friend Michelle is on that show all the time. She's hilarious.
That's awesome. Are you ready and jacked for the new season of The Walking Dead? I watched the whole 3rd season over last weekend and finished it Tuesday. I also bought Spartacus Vengeance yesterday. Not big on Liam Mcintyre as Spartacus. I can deal with him, but the new actress who plays Naevia...even more disappointing. She's attractive, but I think the old actress was a tad cuter in the face. And no show can beat the adult content of this show. They do go overboard with the CGI blood, but it is quite awesome. I think I'll stick to watching Blood and Sand or Gods of the Arena before Ravens games though since there's hardly any gladiator fights in this season.
South Park was pretty hilareei last night. I loved the Alec Baldwin bits and spin off on Twitter. And the DMV stuff. So far The Big Bang Theory episodes have been funny. Had to DVR them cause I've been on some cough meds and they knocked me out last night. And the O's game was on during Big Bang.
I just set South Park to be recorded on my DVR and just finished up Season 3 of The Walking Dead again. Definitely one of my least favorite seasons. Can't wait for the spin off of it so I won't have to worry about the differences between the comic and the show. My girlfriend informed me about it. Supposedly, its gonna be completely different characters.
2 more days til South Park!
Can't wait. So much new material. Also been going back and watching Season 3 of The Walking Dead.
Listened to Tame Impala's song "Elephant" for the first time on DC 101 or 98 Rock on my way home today. Good song.
Just saw "The Iceman".
Pretty good, pretty sick. I learned about a serial killer I never heard of which is always interesting.
It was nice to see Ray Liotta in another film.
Michael Shannon did a nice job playing such an evil character. From what I've read about the real Richard Kuklinski the movie seems to soften his him up.
I actually saw a documentary last year on that guy. Total creeper. I do wanna see it. Watched Windtalkers the other day. That movie is so Hollywood. Good action, but they overdo it with the explosions and tumbling run and gun scenes.
I've actually soured on him a little bit. The size and balls skills are great, but he will need a lot of work as a route runner and he isnt very quick. I think he will struggle to get open in the NFL tbh.
Cause you know how much that hurt Boldin....I didn't see him go up and get many balls, but separation isn't everything when a guy has a big body and good hands. I'm still glad Bama beat them. Can't stand Manziel. He's already at Kaeper*ick's level when it comes to being cocky. I wish the Ravens could get the holes Bama's offensive line gave. Those two brothers on the left side of their O-Line are ridiculous. I LMAO'd at Yeldon's mocking of Manziel's TD dance. And the targeting penalty was one of the worst call's I've ever seen.
I saw it in the theater and then later on DVD. LOVED IT. Scared the crap out of me several times. I hope pt 2 it's as good.
Is part one on Netflix? I'll watch that tonight!
I dunno about streaming, but I first saw it at home through Netflix.. Creepy movie, but I loved it. Second one looks just as creepy. Too bad it doesn't look like the weird demon thing from the first one is in it. Loved hearing that Tiny Tim song. I rarely ever go to the theaters anymore due to people always talking.
Who gives negs on a music thread? Get a life. Still listening to Ramy Essam.
Listening to "Bread, Freedom, Justice, Social" by Ramy Essam, an Egyptian singer for the Revolution. I'm taking the first Egyptian dialect Arabic course and my professor emailed me the link to this song yesterday. She's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I had her son as my language partner in the Summer Language Program. Love this song though. You can check find it on YouTube if you search "Ramy Essam Bread Freedom" Don't wanna slow down the boards with the link
Plus it's Scarlett.. I never turn that down lol
Actually might go see this movie. Looks pretty funny. Also forgot how hilarious Dirty Work was. Been so long since I'd seen it uncensored.
Hill's still recovering from an ACL tear, but he went all AP on Texas.
I saw that. I had to quote John Heard from Sharknado as he was about to get mauled by sharks and say "Aw crap!" when I saw Hill's rushing TD's. Also thought Michigan looked good. Can't wait to get mauled by them when Maryland enters the Big Ten. At least the Big Ten also has Indiana. They can't be amazing at football. After all, they did produce Tandon Doss.
Just hope Robo Cop isn't PG-13. Looks sweet. I watched 2012: Zombie Apocalypse. Nothing great, but better than I thought it would be for a SyFy. They got the idea of freshly reanimated corpses running and the ones that had reanimated long ago being slow correct. I know. It's not an actual thing, but that's how it is in my books due to rigor mortis. Also watched Neverending Story a few days ago. Forgot how amazing that movie was.
EDIT: Watched Beer League with Artie Lange and Ralph Macchio. Not the best comedy, but it does have its moments. Might watch Dirty Work later. That's a classic.
Finally re-watched Breakfast Club for the first time since I was way too young. Love that movie.
Lot of people IK did
Never read the Reacher book/s, but I was pretty much equally disappointed to find out Mark Wahlberg's playing Marcus Luttrell in the Lone Survivor movie since Luttrell is about 6'5". Just saw the trailer though. Has Ben Foster and Eric Bana as well. I'll probably see it:

Oh no Johnny Manziel's down. Knee injury After EJ Manuel and now this, would anybody still like a running QB?
