How bout that rookie TE for Bama? How long until people start comparing him to Ozzie?
I dunno about that, but that guy has some serious speed. Looks like a WR with that speed. And Norwood had some ups too. Bama's D could improve though.
Wow Miami getting embarrassed by Va Tech. How can you miss that many tackles? Wow Alabama dodged an early bullet. Thought it started at 8:30 not 8
When the Levee Breaks by Led Zeppelin. Good way to start the morning.
Since Xfinity's trying to get us to pay extra for HBO by giving us the free sample period, I've been watching Eastbound and Down. My favorite character's probably Stevie.
I'm listening to Afterlife by Avenged Sevenfold. I knew it was them when I heard it on the radio a week or so ago, but I didn't know the name of the song, but then I heard it while walking to class today on Pandora and immediately knew it.
ok Who here is ready for Thor in a little over a week?
I'll raise my hand. Have Friday the 13th Part 5 on the way for today. Keepin it for tomorrow as well. Tomorrow's gonna be choc full of zombie and slasher movies.
I have Roth's version of California Girls on my one YouTube playlist. I used to love when Yankee Rose would come on the radio in GTA Vice City
I think Sammy was better live, but that's just my opinion.
Roth's Van Halen is more fun to listen too imo when he's not live
true. I'm a young buck, so I never got to see em live, but I saw a video of DLR live with them and he was so drugged it was ridiculous. I forget where it is on YouTube, but I think it's a show they played in Brazil
Now to spark another debate.
Van Halen with Roth or With Hagar?
GO
Gotta go with Roth. Can't beat him when he's cracked out lol. Listening to Savior by Rise Against. Love this song. Gets me so jacked.
Prob gonna see what horror marathon is on AMC in a bit. Also just queued up Friday the 13th 5 to come Wednesday. One of my favorite to laugh at even though it's not Jason. Choc full of great one liners. "What's wrong chief can't take a joke?" And the little boy Reggie screaming like a girl. I always thought of Reggie Wayne screaming like that when he'd come across the middle against Ray Lewis
Styx is just a good band. They have so many good songs....
Tis true sir tis true. Same goes for Led Zeppelin. I have a playlist for them on YouTube since my desktop and iPod are both dead and it's longer than my modern rock list and when I realized that, I realized I was still missing bronyaur stomp and dyer maker. Of course I already had When the Levee Breaks. One of my favorite songs. My Dad got me into them when I was a kid and I just recently started listening to them a lot. In the morning, between 6 and 10, I prefer 100.7 the bay cause the other radio stations have wannabe comedians. Of course, once I get to College Park, I have to switch to DC 101 because the signal for 100.7 gets weak.
Come Sail Away ~Styx
That song is amazing
Very good song. I've been getting the Led out the last few days. Listening to The Battle of Evermore. Next is Bronyaur Stomp. Led Zeppelin's gotta be one of my top 5 (if not 3) bands of all time. For the longest time, I did not know it was them playing Dyer Maker because it just doesn't sound like their sound. Has a very reggae feel to it.
Finally seen the Exorcist. Really enjoyed it.
I remember sneaking into the re-release of it in the late 90's.
Sister Christian by Night Ranger in Friday the 13th remake. It will be forever embedded in my head from this lol
Okay I've come to the conclusion that Halloween 3 was 100% useless to that series. I'm throwing in the Friday the 13th remake. I have the Nightmare on Elmstreet remake set to DVR on Thursday even though it was boring. Just want something to watch. Too much of a movie buff. Also need to finish My Soul to Take. I stopped at the bridge kill scene. Fun fact: Actress who plays Michonne in The Walking Dead is in that movie as a paramedic.
I definitely need to go back and watch that. And the lady of 3 lol
Since it's Halloween time, people who haven't seen The Cabin in the Woods need to watch it.
One of the weirdest movies I've ever seen. Funny but extremely weird. I prefer to keep it 1000000 with zombie and slasher movies like Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elmstreet, Halloween and My Soul to Take, etc. Almost forgot. Scream. Just the first two. After that it got old.
Halloween 3. One of the worst in the series.
Didn't see any yesterday, but I saw Manziel get crushed and also saw Alabama blow out Arkansas. What happened to Arkansas this year? I know they got a new coach, but is their QB out or something? Alabama's good, but they can't even put up a field goal?
Not sure if it counts for TV shows, but I was in Deep Creek in a Cabin with my two cousins, bro and some friends for my older cousin's bachelor party. Mostly just built fires, went fishing and cooked meat and drank quite a bit, but last night, we watched the UFC PPV with Velasquez and Dos Santos as the main event. Pretty much all of the fights were awesome. Only one I didn't like was Big Country and Cormier. Favorite was Sanchez and Melendez. I can't stand boxing because of all the hugging/grappling, but the majority of the fights didn't have much of the hugging. Velasquez and Dos Santos had a lot of it, but I liked it there because the fight went on longer and I got to see Dos Santos bleed from just about every orifice in his head. There was too much in the Big Country/Cormier fight. Also John Dodson had swag for centuries. Very cocky, but he backed it up. I passed out drunk from Jameson and Jack Daniels, but I was resurrected in time for all the fights.
Crumblin Down by John Mellencamp. Heard it driving home today.
Sharknado is one of the greatest movies ever made
Get ready to be blown away or have a shark crush you from the sky: http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv-movies/sharknado-2-revealed-sequel-title-article-1.1421807
I'll miss John Heard. But I'm watching Friday the 13th 7 New Blood on AMC right now. One of my faves and I think Kane Hodder's first appearance as Jason. He's probably my favorite Jason. New one wasn't bad, but the running start he got in that one tiny part in the beginning almost ruined it for me.
Thank goodness The Walking Dead returns tonight. Need it after another ugly loss.
That targeting rule is so lame. Let the guys play good lord. I get it. These guys have issues later in life. Like Jeff Garcia sounding slurred now. But if they're gonna do this targeting rule, why wasn't the O-lineman for UNC ejected for it with the Clowney hit? Sick of how they just use it to protect WR's and QB's. Yeah they take most hits, but Clowney could've had an ACL tear on the hit he took.

Les Miles made me so angry leaving Mettenberger in on that last down. Seriously, was he possessed by the Redskins team doctor who cleared RG3 last season? That was one of the worst decisions I've ever seen. I know it's football and people can always get hurt, but punt the football. 4th & 28, 2 minutes to go, down by 3 TD's and their offensive line just gave up 2 sacks in a row. And he doesn't even pay any attention to him when he barely limps off the field. I don't think Mettenberger is a smart QB though. There were 3-4 passes that easily could've been intercepted. Still think Les Miles was horrible for leaving him in like that instead of punting. There's pride and then there's stupidity.
