  1. Just got Serpico from Netflix.
  2. I''d say worst game to movie is either SMB or Double Dragon. Didn't mind the DD plot, but that was my least favorite acting by Robert Patrick.
  3. Dazed and Confused. One of the best movie soundtracks ever. Too much great music. It's become a tradition for me to watch it when my Spring semesters are well and truly over.
  4. I agree. A lot more action. And the use of the song "Can't Smile Without You" was perfect.
  5. Heartbreak Ridge. Also watched Sniper with Tom Berenger and Billy Zane. Full of cheesy, hilarious quotes.
  6. LOL. I remember when standing in line to get tickets for Avengers, I overheard the woman in front of me say she was banned from selecting movies at red box because she last picked The Devil Inside. I have Swingers on the way from Netflix. One of my favorite movies. "You're so money and you don't even know it"
  7. That's one of my favorites too. I saw it thrice in theaters. The only thing I think would have made the new Batman movies better is if they just scratched all of the police lines. That's the worst attempt at comic relief ever. In Batman Begins it's "He's driving in a black....tank" And in Dark Knight it's the SWAT officer saying "I didn't sign up for this" and "That's not good. :chopper crashes: Okay THAT's not good!" I love both movies, but just scratch that part. When my friend and I were discussing The Avengers over the phone he brought up Dark Knight Rises and I said "Just beware of any presence of law enforcement because you know one of them is probably gonna drop a line that's completely unnecessary."
  8. Saw The Avengers. Very good.
  9. Black Hawk Down. Just noticed there's a Pepsi sign in Arabic in there.
  10. I'll probably skip Dictator. I only liked SBC in Talladega Nights when he wasn't starring in it. I just watched Kick A. Forgot that movie was close to two hours.
  11. Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol from Netflix. Not too bad. Typical European gone extremist villain, but it was still good. Another thing I didn't like is every car was a BMW. Product placement was a little too aggressive.
  12. Ugh! I need to see The Avengers. I could've gone to see it with two friends, but I had an Arabic power point to put together. Finals are next week. I just watched Tower Heist today. Not too bad. Just about anything with Ben Stiller is good.
  13. I saw The Sitter yesterday with my one friend. Craziest movie ever. Just all over the place. It definitely has its moments, but I was just like "What is going on?!" during so many parts. Also just received a new Slipknot DVD (sic)nesses. Looking forward to seeing both Safe and The Avengers.
  14. Watched Priest. It was eh. Once I saw Brad Douriff, I was like, "Things are lookin up!" And a few cheesy one-liners later, I was brought back to reality. It's not as bad as I thought, though. It's about on the same level as Legion. In fact, it pretty much is Legion except with vampires.
  15. I have The Sitter on my Netflix list. I just watched West Beirut for a class. I've actually seen much worse.
  16. LMAO we had a joke on him going on in my Physical Science class back in community college. We watched a video with him narrating it and this guy said "Man that guy could narrate anything" And so whenever things were too quiet, someone would say "Morgan Freeman?"
  17. LOL it's a crawl space. Where we keep Christmas ornaments and other holiday stuff along with things that don't get much use. May see Wrath of the Titans or something else on my day off Thursday.
  18. I'm about to watch Slipknot's Disasterpiece. I bought it back in high school and had it under the house with some other movies I haven't watched in forever.
  19. I'm pretty sure, but I could be wrong.
  20. I watched Immortals yesterday drunk. That was a good time. Many heads speared and smashed.
  21. 300. Definitely not the first time seeing it.
  22. You should check out Mechanic, Jamal. Statham does do a lot of stuff that's hard to believe, but I still like the majority of his movies. I'll probably take my dad to see his new movie Safe. He's like my Dad's favorite modern day actor. I might go see The Cabin In The Woods when I'm off on a Thursday. Just too many good movies out this year. I feel like Hollywood bought into the 2012 Apocalypse theory and decided to rush out all the good ones this year. But I watched Beverly Hills Ninja last night. Used to love me some Chris Farley.
  23. My Dad's been hinting at watching Braveheart, but I just watched that a few weeks ago. That's one of those movies I have to give time before I can watch it again. Whatever you do don't ever watch the movies Ginger and Fred or Man of Ashes. And Man of Ashes isn't to be confused with Man On Fire aka One of the greatest movies ever. Man of ashes is a depressing movie I had to watch for an Arabic class and to top it off, they're speaking Moroccan dialect, which is the worst of all Arabic dialects. My next movie from Netflix is Immortals. It's not the best, but it's also not the worst. If you like over-the-top gore and a bit of torture, you'll love it, but I wasn't too big on all the actors. Mainly the one who plays Poseidon.
  24. Crazy you guys brought this up. My Italian Cinema professor brought up Hannibal the other day and a classmate and I got to talking about Ed Gein, Ted Bundy and all those other whack jobs. I actually have movies on Gein and Bundy by First Look Media. Michael Reilly Burke is like the perfect Bundy and Steve Railsback is the perfect Gein. That studio seems to go for actors who look and act just like the real guys and it's pretty creepy. But steer clear of the ones with Kane Hoddard. Him as Ed Gein is as bad as it gets. Anyways, my next Netflix movie is Mayor of Hell with James Cagney.
  25. Saw Super 8. Was alright, but wasn't really big on how it ended. Loved the music though.
