Defense is elite though, but elite defenses will not win games in this time and age unless your offense can put up at least some points. Our offense struggled with putting points up already last year and have gotten only worse ever since.

Q and Mangold are veteran depth at this point, they won't be the solution.

Honesty, I feel that our defense should be set for a good while now. I am very excited about our defense and special teams. On the other hand, I am disappointed about not getting our poor offense any help. I guess I have to trust that Ozzie will pick up a free agent or two as a stop gap and/or make a trade. Maybe he can find a gem tonight on offense who will surprise us all. Come preseason, I will be excited but my enthusiasm will be tempered because our offense will probably struggle this year at times.

imo Nick Mangold and Anquan Boldin are not upgrades from what we have already sorry joe but it sucks to be you

We really need a Center so I can see us bringing in Mangold. Boldin keeps showing that he can be very productive so I would not be upset with bringing him in either. Maybe even Dunlap at RT. These guys are past their prime but not sure at this point there are better options in the 4th 5th 6th or 7th rounds.

I agree with that. I don't want our RB's getting tackled before they can even get back to the LOS or Joe getting strip sacked a few times a game or even worse - getting injured.

Well our defense is going to be really good, so I am looking forward to seeing that unit. Our special teams should be really good also. Hopefully they will be good enough to win games on Tucker's leg.
