I remember when my stepson was a little boy he used to think the expandable baton on my gun belt was my light saber. Personally I thought it looked like Gene Rayburn's microphone from "The Match Game" but I guess if he wanted it to be my light saber I was not going to burst his bubble.
I think this is one of the threads I am going to miss the most. To all the diehard O's fans that post in this thread, I have really enjoyed chatting with you all. May you all stay as cool as Brooks Robinson!!!!!!!!!!!

There's a first time for everything.
That's not how the Fourth works!
I'm just kidding, that was a clever reference.
I just noticed you are a Sith Lord....lol My favorite Star Wars character is Darth Maul. His light saber was the bomb!
I never made that connection before with this date. I do have a Boston Terrier named Yoda.
I see we play the Chicago White Sox tomorrow and the Yankees play the Chicago Cubs. I think I would rather play the Cubs right now.
Glad to get out of that bottom of the seventh!

We want everyone to go out remembering us fondly, so personal attacks are still off the table. Porn is still off the table. Trolling is still off the table.
Cuss if you must, but don't go overboard with it.
Does this mean I can't get one of those famous Ravens Stadium bovine skat chants going tomorrow? lol

We're the ones that still talk about those damn Mayflower vans....lol

Did you see Seth Smith steal home? He is having a great game, so far he is 3-3.

now realising that I'm apparently a festive undresser
For some reason, I can hear Ray Stevens saying, "This is your action news reporter once again, and we're here at the gas
station. Pardon me, sir, did you see what happened?" "Yeah, I did.".....................lol

No, you are getting into the spirit of that last 24 hours. Might as well have a little fun.
2 minutes ago, OriolesMagicPlease said:Wow. First time I've ever been accused of being a guy, lol. Perhaps you should do your homework before making accusations. I have been posting for a while, mostly on the baseball thread.
I was just trying to have some fun before the boards closed. Sorry you are having a bad day. But I'm a lover not a fighter, so I'll leave it at that.
I arrested some woman that were actually guys, but I always believed you were the real deal ![]()

Yep, you buy them books and send them to school, and what do they do? They eat the covers off the books.

It is weird because him and his brother do like the Orioles, so I did something right when it come to baseball.

OMG yes between him and my Steelers wife! She was so mad that the Patriots are only one Lombardi away from her precious Steelers. She was also upset that Tom Brady surpassed her favorite QB's Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana. She went to bed so salty! I did not know how much my step son loved the Patriots until he cried when they lost to the Giants in the Super Bowl the first time. I will never forget, he said, "This is the worst night ever!" My wife and I were shocked. We never knew he was that passionate about football. My other step son is a Packers fan. My wife and I joke around that, we don't know where we went wrong. Their real dad is from Baltimore and he is a Seahawks fan, so maybe I should blame him.
1 minute ago, Pats said:Hmm could it be the san francsico "we've been good for 4 seasons only" giants. God I despise their fans, at least SF is a nice city. The worst playoffs was 2012 when the orioles lost in 5 to the yankees, and we lost in 5 to the tigers. For the record bill burr is the best pats fan by far.
No, it was my O's. We won 4-1 on April 17, 1968.

Can you believe, I have a step son that is a Patriots fan? He loves Tom Brady. I blame it on his mother! Yes, I still take him out for ice cream. ![]()

I was just thinking over the years of who I may have been the meanest to on this site and my first thought was Cam Cameron. I really hated his play calling something fierce, but then I remembered it has to be David Reed. Yeah, I definitely was the most brutal on David Reed. The one decision I probably got the most upset about was the Boldin trade. I may have beat a dead horse on that one, but I finally got over that one when we signed Steve Smith.
