  1. Lets get back in the win column tonight! Go O's!!!!!!!!!
  2. Good to know. Looking forward to seeing him play.
  3. Trading back has not seemed like it has worked out as good as I would have liked recently. Maybe be should grab the BPA and take quality over quantity.
  4. I have seen the Steelers wear a yellow helmet once in a while, so maybe we can put a color change into the rotation for a game or two during the season. I don't know if the NFL has strict rules on this though.
  5. Yes! I am extremely happy Lardarius is back!
  6. I hate the matte black on the Jaguars helmet, but maybe it is because their helmets look like they were in the body shop fixing front end damage. It looks like their game started before the black primer could be wet sanded and the rest of the gold lacquer applied.
  7. God I love beating the Yankees!
  8. I would love to have Webb back. He has always been one of my favorite Ravens. I just love his personality, attitude, and drive. IMHO, he is one class act!
  9. YES!!!!!!! I like it!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. And what exactly fuels this faith of yours? I don't think it was his performance - because it has so far been mediocre at best... Also, the fact that a rookie and an eternal journeyman (Ducasse) easily overtook him on the depth chart doesn't seem to indicate he's starting caliber... I completely agree.
  11. So far the season is off to a nice start with the long ball!
  12. You just said my exact feelings so well. I am in 100% complete agreement with you. I don't mind the trade, I just think we should have gotten a little bit more. I guess that if the Ravens were to land Elflein and Sidney Jones with those 74th and 78th picks (in any order), I will feel much differently.
  13. Round 1. Ryan Ramczyk -T- Wisc Round 2. Tm Williams- OLB-Bamma Round 3. Ju Ju Smith-Schuster- WR-USC Round 3. Cam Sutton- CB-Tenn Round 4. De De Westbrook -WR-Okla Round 5. Ejuan Price- OLB-Pitt Round 6. Levon Myers-OT- Northern Illinois R1- M.Williams R2- P.Elflein R3- R.Anderson R3- S.Jones R4- Z.Banner R5- Bug Howard R6- Greg Pyke Man l'll will be pumped up if our draft was like this. I also wouldn't mind having Derek Barnett in the first, Juju Smith in the second, Elflien in the third (if he makes it) and Sidney Jones in the third as well. That would be a dream draft. 👍 If that happens then I will completely change my opinion on this trade and sing praises to Ozzie. It seems a little too good to be true that the draft fall in line like that but you did get my hopes up a little.
  14. Maybe this quick analysis will make you see why this is much more probably gonna end up being a good move than a bad one And if you're familiar with RSR, you know that Tony Lombardy isn't the guy who will defend everything about the Ravens organization's actions. Sorry bio, I will take a motivated Timmy and his production and a possible 3rd round comp pick next draft over moving up 25 spots in the third round this draft any day. IMHO Lombardi is the one who is wrong. He did not convince me one bit with his argument. And how do you know we would have gotten a "motivated" Jernigan in 2017? And how do you know this "motivation" wouldn't have triggered even more boneheaded penalties? I guess I don't know. I just have a feeling this young man is going to turn it up after seeing what Williams got. He would be a fool not to. My money is on him having a real good year.
  15. If that happens I would change my opinion on this move. Sidney's doctor guarantee he will be ready to play the during 2017 season. I know Eagles fans were hoping that he would make it to them in the third. If we pick him up, some of those fans may not like this trade. I think Jones is going early in the third, so I am not as optimistic.

  17. It's cute that you think that it would have played out any different. Moving up that far for a player whose role was being reduced and who will be gone next year is a huge bonus to the Ravens. I agree. Get it now or lose. Theres no way we was getting a 4th round pick in 2019 for him. We already lost when we gave Williams all of that money. We have to deal good talent so big muscle man can hoard money. No.... if I had to pick between keeping Timmy or BW.... I would take BW every day of the week -no issues there but I just don't like the fact that we let TJ go for a 3rd round pick.... We would have gotten a comp pick for him next year (possibly a 3rd or 4th rounder) so we lost Timmy and two 3rd rounders' for a higher 3rd rounder???? If we would have even got a 3rd and a 5th... or a 2nd and a 5th.... I would have said... man it is worth it. Heck.... if we would have ended up swapping our 4th for their 3rd... (and ended up with 3 third round picks) I would have said... great move... but as is????????????????????????????? I am with you. Seems like the Eagles made out on this deal. I don't like it at all.
  18. I personally did not like trading back twice in the second. I was hoping to pick up Spence and was disappointed when we we didn't. Time will tell if it was a big mistake.
  19. Yeah, I am a Boy Scout leader for my step-son's Troop and we had to leave for the scout meeting last night. I really didn't want to go but I made the commitment. I also promised a few boys last week working on their First Class rank that I would help them with their "rights as a citizen" requirement, which we finished last night. Unfortunately, I would have been so pumped up and happy seeing that homerun with two outs in the bottom of the 11th on opening day! It is just not the same hearing about it from your wife when you get home.
  20. I had to leave in the middle of the 10th and missed Trumbo's homerun. I am so bummed.
  21. That is pretty cool!
  22. I admit the arrest concerns me, but if we traded back and then picked this guy up, I would like the pick. We could use another tackle and IMHO this year's draft is not as deep at that position for NFL ready guys.
  23. I truly enjoyed talking Orioles baseball with everyone that ventured down to the Off-Topic Forum. From the bottom of my heart I want to say, I am really going to miss everyone's company when these boards close. For a few more weeks at least, I hope to see some familiar posts when Crush Davis hits them out of the park God bless everyone! Go O's!!!!!!!!!
  24. Did anyone get a kick out of this yesterday? https://lockerdome.com/happygilmore/pittsburgh-steelers-rb-le-veon-bell-arrested-after-dui-hit-and-run-accident
  25. I remember Irsay telling then Mayor Schaefer that he'd never leave so what did he do he left in the middle of the night in the the snow. I hated him ever since and wish the Colts nothing but the worse of times. Me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
