I am not a fan of Ryan or Brady so I was real disappointed for this Super Bowl. My stepson is a huge Tom Brady fan and me and my stepson are super tight, so I guess I have a soft spot for wanting him to be happy. I was really rooting for the Chiefs when we did not make it.

Falcons running game is clicking and Julio Jones has been making some pretty amazing catches. The Pats have been moving the ball but their drives are stalling when they get into Falcons territory. Brady's pick six really put you into the hole.

Maybe, but me and my Patriot's stepson are really tight so I actually feel a little bad for him. When he was in diapers, I used to come over after work in my uniform and he would run into my arms screaming my name, it was the best feeling in the world. Maybe deep down I am rooting for the Patriots because of him, but I really don't care for Matt Ryan.

This is not the Patriots days. My stepson just went to his room all upset. My Steelers wife is showing him no mercy....lol.

You are right. We also need a lead-off hitter that has a high OBP with decent speed. Kansas City won a World Series with a line-up as you describe. Our lineup may get us to the playoffs, but that is where we are likely to be shut down by good pitching. where we can not take advantage of advancing the bases. Our feast or famine lineup does worry me.

I know we don't have that kind of money to spend but can you imagine if we still had Cruz in our lineup. We would not have the strongest fielding but our offense would be knocking balls out of the park almost every game we played. We would probably set a record.

I am glad to have Trumbo back. We now have the DH position locked down and Camden Yards is such a nice park for Trumbo to crush some homers.

I have to say I was upset when they announced Trestman was coming here and I was glad when he was let go. I am okay with Marty having a shot at getting this offense back on track and I am optimistic we will improve.

I know it probably frees up money for the O's (depending on how much we sent the Mariners) but Gallardo started to improve toward the end of the season when he got healthier and could have a bounce back year. Then again, he could decline even more like he has been doing for the last several years.

What do you all think of the O's acquiring OF Seth Smith from the Mariners in exchange for RHP Gallardo and cash?

I hope you are correct with the edge rusher. Can't take another wasted #1 WR pick like Mark Clayton or Perriman. I agree, unless they are ones like AJ Green or Julio Jones which were no-brainer WR picks.
