So much contempt in the room. Definitely not a sexy draft but don't throw the towel in yet. There is concern that Ray Rice situation and others has given us a black eye to where we are so risk averse, but it seems like we may be hurting our self by trying to avoid risk altogether. I haven't done my research on this, but I'm pretty sure Rice and Boyle had no character issues and look at them now. On the other hand, we took a risk on a player like Jimmy Smith who was clean for a few years, and barring health issues, we got a pretty solid player. Tunsil seems too scary for the first pick, but Spence IMO seemed like a relatively safe choice. A lot of people would have been thrilled to get Jack in the first round, but seeing as 30 some odd picks went by and no one picked him, it seems as though every other team thought this was a bad idea. Lets remember that we are all fans and really know very little so we can have our opinions but lets sit back and see where this thing goes. Again, not sexy so far, but have some faith. We have won 2 Superbowls in the last 15 years which puts us ahead of 90% of the other teams and the last one was with a lot of players on the decline. Breeeaaaathee...
