  1. 1. He has the third highest cap hit of the team, topped only by two players that are at the tops of their respective positions.

    2. Taking a pay cut or getting a contract extension would help the team.

    3. "I'm not playing for money."

Why shouldn't Boldin take a pay cut? He played great in the playoffs, but we can't base every player's salary on a four game stretch. The FO has no idea why Boldin suddenly turned into a real #1 receiver for the playoffs, or whether that will last through another season and it would be foolish of them to pay him like one.

Why shouldnt he take a pay cut?

    1) His contract has been written and agreed upon by both parties.

    2) His performance does not warrant a pay cut, especially this post season.

    3) His contract has been written and agreed upon by both parties, and Boldin has upheld HIS end of the contract the Racvens should do so as well.

Let me ask you. If your job wanted to give you $5.00 less per hour and still ask you to perform the same tasks, at the same level would you agree ?

Even more so, would you agree to $5.00 less per hour some some one else can make $8.00 MORE per hour ?

NOTHING about asking Boldin to take a pay cut is even remotely FAIR.

It's not exactly fair, but it is a business.

Seriously, I like Boldin too, but you guys have gotta realize it's a business. Boldin is declining, and not worth a 7.5 million cap hit. Ellerbe, however, is young and improving. Simply put, Ellerbe is a better investment at this point, and Boldin is not. I don't see why that's such a hard concept to grasp.

I fully and totally get the fact that it is a business. It goes both ways. The Ravens are a business and Anquan Boldin is a business. Anquan, rightfully so, maintains that the product and service he provides is worth the previously agreed upon amount.

Would you at your job take less money, for equal work so some one else can make more?

I dont see why THAT is such a hard concept to grasp...

  2. hows that working for you? i never met anyone that had a bowflex. I was going to get myself one but my basement ceiling is just as tall as the bowflex at 7' tall

Well we have "The Revolution" its much less than seven feet tall with the adjustable arms down. May be seven feet give or take with the arms all the way up.

Otherwise I like it a lot. It comes with a very helpful software trainer program that has made a world of difference for me.
