My couch has very good back support with beer holders,  so yea,  pretty happy.  Good for them,  we aren't them.   Green Bay has had two hof QBs since we've became a franchise.  They should be in the playoffs every year.  But keep comparing your success to others together than the capabilities of what you have,  you will always be disappointed. Always.

The comparison game really is silly.

Browns, Bills,  Eagles would love some of the titles we hold.

That said if you do want to play the compare game, there are far more teams that we are better than in the past 10-20 years than teams that are better than us.

Now I don't know if Cousins and Flacco are friends or not being in the same area and of the same QB fraternity, but I want them to be. Here's why? When asked about taking a team friendly deal to help the Redskins he declined politely but added this:

“Frankly, once you sign the contract, there’s no law saying you can’t renegotiate,” Cousins said. “If you signed a deal and you end up coming away from two seasons saying, ‘Hey, not only did we not win, but I think the reason is that I’m taking too much,’ then you can always talk about changing that, but I don’t a need to do that on the front end. You want to find your value and then be able to play off of that accordingly."

In my mind he was directly looking at Flacco and thinking of him when he made the statement! Are you listening Joe??

    His agent however vehemently disagrees.

  3. Raiders @ Texans:  Back up QB vs. Back up QB.  Could be a train wreck of an exciting game really.
    I pick the Raiders.

Lions @ Seahawks:  I don't know much about either team this season.  I want the team Devon Hester is on to lose.
    I pick the Lions.

Dolphins @ Steelers: I can't imagine what colossal mess up Pitts-burgh would have to commit to lose this one.
    I pick Pitts-burgh.  ( bleck )

Giants @ Packers: I don't know much about either and really don't care either way.
    I pick Green Bay.

IMO Coaches are overrated. The players execute. To stop some of the negs I am going to get, I will admit coaches can help.

no negs from me.  There is truth to that.  Like Eisenberg said yesterday ,,, something to the effect that Marty is not so much the problem as much as the play calling.
After that it is all on the players to execute.

Lucky for us, not everyone feels it's all doom amd gloom.

This place has been a mess since Pitts-burgh.  I am not surprised at some of the doom and gloomers, but there are so many on here now, who I am shocked and disappointed that they are acting this way.

I mean, yeah the past three seasons have sucked.  But it hasn't been for the sake of sucking.

John Eisenberg, a writer whose opinion I greatly respect wrote this on the main page earlier today.

It pretty much sums up my thoughts perfectly.

But honestly, I’m not even that focused on WHO the OC is so much as WHAT he does going forward. Regardless of who is in charge, the Ravens’ offensive philosophy needs a makeover.

THIS is why I am not bent out of shape they are keeping Marty.
