I used to say that. Used to. Then I watched a few non division games against good teams. Yes the Pats division is weak and that is good for 6 wins ( +/- ) But what about the rest of the season? Ten more games where at the very least, at absolute minimum they are competitive. Usually they pretty much dominate. The Pats are an amazing team. It is not debatable. Now I need to go take ANOTHER shower.

THIS. Pees is far from perfect, but man we can do A LOT WORSE. I really think some talent adjustment and some scheme tweaking is in order for sure, but Pees is no idiot. I REALLY don't think he is proud nor pleased with the second half of the season. And the Rex fans, without going back ten years give me some glimmer of evidence that Rex can be an outstanding D.C. I personally don't think he has it.

Man I would be a TERRIBLE owner. I don't doubt that Steve has a lot on his mind right now. He is a very smart and shrewd businessman who is also compassionate. That is an amazingly difficult balance.

Thanks for giving an actual breakdown. I was unsure who was under contract and who was not. I agree with most, for one of two reasons, 1) It has good reasoning 2) I have no clue but it sounds good to me. I disagree with the following. Chris Matthews. He has been just too MEH. Matt Elam I think he will get a low ball offer from the Ravens, but he will go elsewhere for more money but not much more. I think Aiken stays though, although you are likely right, I think Ozzie will put forth some effort to keep him. I am not sure what the market will put on him. Either way, no surprise if he is not a Raven nest year, no surprise if he is. Lastly I think Pitta stays. He and Joe are clearly in love, and it works well. No need to upset that love boat.

Sorry your retirement game sucked Steve. Good luck down the road. Go be a great Dad and husband. Your family earned it.
