Why shouldnt he take a pay cut? 1) His contract has been written and agreed upon by both parties. 2) His performance does not warrant a pay cut, especially this post season. 3) His contract has been written and agreed upon by both parties, and Boldin has upheld HIS end of the contract the Racvens should do so as well. Let me ask you. If your job wanted to give you $5.00 less per hour and still ask you to perform the same tasks, at the same level would you agree ? Even more so, would you agree to $5.00 less per hour some some one else can make $8.00 MORE per hour ? NOTHING about asking Boldin to take a pay cut is even remotely FAIR. I fully and totally get the fact that it is a business. It goes both ways. The Ravens are a business and Anquan Boldin is a business. Anquan, rightfully so, maintains that the product and service he provides is worth the previously agreed upon amount. Would you at your job take less money, for equal work so some one else can make more? I dont see why THAT is such a hard concept to grasp...
