Look who FINALLY has come out from under the bed !! We changed her name to "scooter" I have never seen a cat do this, she will lay down on her side and reach out with her claws and pull her self along the carpet. For like six or seven feet !!! Strange.

Okay cat people. Our OTHER cat doesnt seem to want to come out. She moved in on Sunday and has been hiding under beds and sofas and up on shelves. Zero socialization. Its only been five days, am I expecting too much? I talked to the lady we adopted both of them from and she said she was VERY social prior to our adopting her. How long should it take for a young cat, (about two years old ) who was otherwise very social, to become accustom to a new environment ?

We visited a cat rescue today. Tomorrow they are delivering my NEW KITTYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy dance. I have not had kittys in my home since 2001. I am quite excited. I will post pics, ( once they come out from under the couch )
