  1. It seems to be out of the wheel house of a lot of people in this thread, but maybe some will appreciate it. "BOYHOOD" wile having a bit of a weak story line is a pretty amazing movie. Filmed over the course of 12 YEARS, the movie follows a boy from about six years old to him going off to collage at the age of eighteen. Its not a bunch of actors that look alike, but the same actors over the span of 12 years. Its pretty remarkable. The movie never really had a set script, but was written as it went along. Like I said the story line is a bit weak, but its well worth watching ( even though its just short of three hours, but it holds your attention quite well ) just for the originality and uniqueness of it.
  2. FWIW its not the same Kraft and ew. This whole thing is done. You wont see any action from the league other than blah blah blah.
  3. Well thank God I dont have NFLN
  4. This is news ? Well the off season is really off to a slow start....
  5. Oh I hear ya. I have had some major spelling and grammar funk in my time for sure. You have to admit the irony was a bit amusing though.
  6. It sure is refreshing to see a post started like this on these boards. I say that with absolute respect to the OP, by the way.
  7. I agree. I think this story has completely run its course already.
  8. Yup. Thats what I said.
  9. You of all people know Ravens fans are fickle and can't make up their minds.
  10. Michale will be on a team next season. He never set the world on fire, but he really didnt suck either. He is a decent guy. I am glad he got a ring with us.
  11. Quite the contrast hunh ?
  12. good to hear. After that loss any thing like that would be salt in the wound....
  13. and yet we have posters here that..... never mind. Its simply not worth it. Spoiled fans will remain spoiled fans.
  14. ...and I for one appreciate it.
  15. It likely holds a different meaning if you work for the bomb squad.
  16. Thats the price I pay for skimming and not reading. In my defense I did say "I cant believe "
  17. A new name for the team. I cant believe no one thought of it sooner. Its so obvious. The New England Deflateriots.
  18. Its tough to give an accurate answer. First because I didnt time it. Second the air gauge I used has a release valve that, if you squeeze hard it comes out fast, if you squeeze light it comes out slow. That said, the first time I let the air out I squeezed the valve all the way and a ton of air came out. I had to re-inflate to get up to 10.5. So an easy answer to your question would be, you can deflate by two psi in about one or two seconds.
  19. Those things you listed have nothing to do with the pressure.
  20. Just for giggles and grins I tried this experiment. I used my DIGITAL tire pressure gauge. Inflated a NON REGULATION football to exactly 12.5 psi, squeezed it. Then deflated exactly 2 psi. Squeezed it again. The difference was remarkable. I then re-inflated it to 13.5, squeezed, then down to 12.5, I could still tell a difference. 12.5 was pretty dag gone rock hard let me tell you. 10.5 is just on the hair of being soft. I can ABSOLUTELY see the benefit in a football with 10.5 psi. 13.5 could do some serious damage. Again I will conceed, this test was NOT performed on a regulation football, take the results for what they are worth.
  21. No the deflated balls likely did not effect the outcome of the game(s). However, did the deflated balls effect at least one play? Two? Ten? If football is a game of inches, which it is. And if one single play can change the momentum in a game, which it can. This event is NOT insignificant.
