  1. I couldn't help but wonder: let's Dennis Pitta never had that injury. How would our offense be?

Pitta was poised for a monster year. Such a shame. I think we are at least 6-4 with him.

  5. I'd love to see Flacco show up for more than the 4th quarter. Last week he showed up for two quarters. Here's hoping this is the first week this season the Ravens get three solid quarters of football out of him. He's the highest paid player on the field with a 20.1 AAV so act like it with the performance and leadership. See Peyton Manning or "winning" Tom Brady.

The fact remains that Flacco has the worst supporting cast in the NFL. He can play better, but the deck is stacked against him.

  6. Is it time to start Pierce? I think it might be.

Rice has forced 4 MT all season, Pierce has forced 12. Still not great, but he is running harder.

  8. At least Joe Flacco is proving he was worth the investment. He is proving to be quite the leader out there. If only he had more chances to win us some games.

I have Jordy Nelson, who has just as many TDs to go along with less drops, no fumbles, and about 100 yards less receiving overall. Oh and he has already had his bye.

That's cuz Flacco has played exceptionally well.

Not really, considering they play different positions. My #1 WR is putting up comparable numbers to Megatron and I got him in the 6th round. Besides, you dont have a team anymore anyways.

  13. Regardless of how we finish our season (and hopefully postseason), what positions do we need to address the most in the offseason via draft and free agency?

  14. For everyone questioning the Onsides Kick. Turns out you are wrong. http://www.profootballweekly.com/2010/06/01/surprise-onside-kicks-a-percentage-play

It doesn't matter when the article was written, the data hasn't changed that much in 3 seasons. The fact remains it was a good decision that went poorly. Sometimes that happens.

  15. Harbs is the best head coach we've ever had here. Get off his back, he's always been aggressive.

Purplehaze you have no clue what you are talking about. Surprise onsides kicks have a greater than 60% chance of recovery. It was a good decision for multiple reasons.

I'm not saying to sugarcoat anything, but you are choosing to place blame on one place while there are lots of things that have been poor up to this point. I think it is very useful to have a bye week right now. Players can get rest and focus on the task at hand. A lot needs to be improved, whether or not that happens will determine how the season progresses.

I don't know what you are referring to, but the only same thing we have done for much of the season is try to run the ball when it isnt working. That is insanity.

I don't think they were boneheaded decisions at all. They were smart considering the circumstances, they just didnt work.

I see problems, but I see them in different places. I see them in the defensive line getting pushed around by the worst rushing attack in the NFL. I see them in bad play-calling that has hamstrung the offense.
