People acting like out team is doomed if we let Boldin go is hilarious. I love him as a player and he is a great teammate and leader, but it's not the end of the world folks. Honestly, the team will be in a better position to win in the long-term if they let him go because it allows us to sign other players that are not at the end of their careers. We have made the playoffs 5 straight years and there has been a lot of turnover. It's not like Boldin has been the driving force behind the team's success. I get the sentimental attachment and the recency effect. We also saw Boldin ball out during the playoffs, but the fact is he makes way more than his value, and it's not like the Ravens are asking him to play for nothing. A 2M dollar paycut is exactly what Boldin should be making.
