He has top end speed, but by explosive I mean ability to accelerate on a dime, sudden movements etc. His ability to stop and start are reminiscent of Antonio Brown, and his top end speed is better than Brown's. The ability to separate and get YAC come naturally to him. What he doesn't offer at this point is route running savvy, but like I mentioned he shows a natural ability to separate so as he learns the NFL route tree he will become an elite weapon imo.
Bottomline he is a playmaker with the ball in his hands. He can take a short pass all the way and he can beat you over the top. He needs to learn the in between, but with guys like Steve Smith, Aiken, Campanaro etc that's not what the offense needs right now. We need an explosive playmaker and no one in this draft fits that mold like Coleman.
