  1. It can be judged for the players it has, especially if they arent very good. And let's be honest, most OL are not going to improve much at this point.
  2. 2008 you also had an elite defense. You didnt win a SB solely because of Roethlisberger.
  3. You are incorrect here. The offensive line you have assembled here is possibly the worst in this draft. Is it worse than what he had in the past? That's hard to say definitively, but it certainly isnt much better. That was also Roethlisberger 5 years ago. He has taken a beating since then and cant stay healthy when not protected. I thought you of all people should recognize that if you want Ben to be healthy and successful, you cant let him get beat up.
  4. Poor Offensive line play absolutely does negate the fact that you have good weapons, they are far from amazing. Holmes hasnt been healthy for 2 seasons and Jackson and Boldin are both limited to varying degrees. You dont have a true #1 WR although Graham can be the #1 target. You assembled a team that appears to want to pass the ball, but your OL wont give your QB time to succeed.
  5. Martin isnt really strong enough to play OG IMO. He would get pushed around just as much inside.
  6. Martin was actually far worse on the left side, allowing 20 of his pressure in just 5 games. I can't think your offense will be very successful with those two as your bookends. That's just my opinion though.
  7. Jonathan Martin was one of the worst OTs in the NFL last year letting up 6 sacks, 4 hits, and a whopping 49 hurries. Webb is slightly better, but still in the bottom half of the league allowing 7 sacks, 5 hits, and another 30 hurries. That's over 100 combined pressures allowed by your OTs, and neither are very impressive run blockers either. I will stand by me previous statement.
  8. I like the weapons you have, but I dont think gore will be very effective behind that Oline. Roethlisberger will be running for his life as per usual.
  9. I knew I was taking him before I found the Gif. The taser dance is pure win though.
  10. He also has the best sack dance in football lol
  11. I thought about taking an offensive piece here, but I decided to make my elite defense even better. Barry Cofield is one of the most underrated NT in the league and gives me a very stout front 4 that can stuff the run and rush the passer very effectively.
  12. He's always been an average to above average player. Not spectacular but very solid all around.
  13. Dockett might have said he wants to play DT, but definitely not NT in a 3-4. He likes to be able to penetrate into the backfield as a 3T in a 4-3.
  14. He has never before played NT to start with. He is at his best as one gap penetrator, but if you want to play him in a 30 front he should at least be playing the 5T.
  15. Lol my phone is awful.
  16. Not really a fan tbh. Docket is completely miscast as a NT. Irvin is a liability against the run and your ILBs are average at best. You are set at CB, but S you are fairly weak IMO. Barron could turn it around, but Griffin has been a dissappointment.
  17. Bummer, I really wanted to get Bowers haha. He was my #1 player left.
  18. Obviously Gonzalez is a short term investment, but he is still an elite pass catcher. I wouldn't ask him to block though, as he is among the worst in the league in run blocking.
  19. Pollard is better if healthy, at least as a box defender. Wilson definitely better in coverage.
  20. I don't know how accurate that is. Colleges regularly misreport height/weight for their players. If he was 6'1, 255 he would be pretty fat. He looked fat at the combine and still ran poor so if he was 15 pounds heavier I can hardly imagine he would have any speed on the field at all.
  21. He's actually not that big. He's 6'1, 240 which kind of makes the lack of agility/speed at that size more of a concern. He's not great at taking on blocks but he can tackle well and has good instincts. I just think he needs a strong DL to keep him clean.
  22. I'd actually rather have him in a 4-3 where he doesn't have to take on blockers.
  23. No, but I can lol
  24. OK, but its not like they are worlds apart.
