  1. I'm hoping all of this talk about him being a bust is enough to motivate him to prove us wrong (if he ever plays). Its pretty safe to say this minor injury is a look at was is to come as far as being able to stay healthy. I'm no orthopedic knee surgeon but I'm hearing If a young guy misses the entire season over a Grade 1 or Grade 2 PCL sprain (especially after stem cell injections) I think its safe to say he is not going to payoff as a 1st round pick. Please prove us wrong

  2. If you read the expert opinions on Pitta's hip dislocation/fracture we had plenty of reason to believe he could suffer long term consequences from it as well as re-injuring it. I am assuming the front office must have used Pitta's agent for all of their medical advice? This was a risky move from the start and pretty hard to justify it as being the right move at the time. I'm pretty sure most organizations would have tried to sign him to a short term deal and at most if they used the franchise tag to wait and see we would have only been out 1 year salary since he immediately re injured it.

  3. No chance we intentionally lose... but rest assured with the level of coaching we have in Pees and Trestman it is guarantied we will get a top draft pick. No way Treadwell goes in the top 5 and I don't want to see another receiver drafted in the first round regardless. If Breshad doesn't pan out that proves our front office has no business drafting wr's in round 1. Stick to the Defense in round 1! Regardless of how hard our team tries this year we will likely be 4-12 if we give it a 100%. The best possible solution I see for this team is 6-10 which is still unlikely

  4. %u201CThe coaches are doing a good job,%u201D Harbaugh said. %u201CWe%u2019ve just got to collectively find a way to finish games and get the job done.

You have to be kidding me right? This is some of the all time worst coaching I have ever seen from the Ravens and I can point to plenty of bone headed calls in every game this year. My favorite was last week when you played for the tie and first and goal from the 4

  5. This is what I think needs to happen

    1. We need to take a serious look at the wild card situation right now and consider tanking the rest of the season for a top draft pick based on the analyzes.

    2. Its obvious this zone Defense strategy Pees is using has failed miserably we need to start shopping DC's and when the time is right make a move.

3.Ozzie really needs to consider passing the torch off to Decosta after this season. We all know the reason Eric has stuck around is because he believed the time would come when he would be the GM. The last couple years we have only done average at best in the draft along with the bone headed moves signing Pitta to a long term contract after a serious injury. On top of that Ray Rice was never a great contract move and most of us have known that since the signing (before his incident) how many running backs has New England paid an arm and a leg for? Don't give running backs huge long term contracts everyone has always known that. I can name plenty of other huge mistakes the front office made but why go on I am a huge Ozzie fan and simply think its time to move in a new direction.

    4. Get rid of some of these useless veterans we have signed to anyone that will take some of the salary burden with them. Monroe and Webb just to name a few are not the future of this team and are not the caliber players we want on this team.

    5. Use this excellent draft pick we will have as insurance if Joe will no restructure and maybe pick up a veteran to hold us over until he matures if needed. Not saying get rid of Joe but we all know we need to if he does not restructure. Manning has been able to carry his team when they were complete garbage but although I know Joe is an excellent QB hes not worth keeping if he will not restructure.

6 Trade Steve Smith off to a real team that can play. I think the Ravens are going to be no where near as desirable  for veteran free agents to come to after this horrible season. Make a good gesture move and show the players what kind of an organization we are when we suck this bad. That should keep them wanting to come here

All is not lost if we make some critical moves we can be back in the playoff race next year. I know the owner is going to make some of these moves I mentioned and I am banking on Ozzie retiring this year. I am going to miss him but I know its for the best

  6. Geeez.... I just realized looking at our schedule we will be lucky to go 4-12 this year. Anyway I can get a refund on Direct TV's Sunday ticket? No jk I love my Ravens enough to watch them lose all year if that's the way its going to be. We have no chance of making the playoffs unfortunately after today's loss... home games were a must win for this team with this tough schedule

  7. I had to pinch myself a few times during the game to make sure I wasn't having a nightmare. We are not used to 0-2 and dropping games to the likes of teams like the Raiders (I am not believing the Raiders are good this year either). At this point I say we fight on and if we find a way to win our next 2 games against division rivals we are sitting pretty good. I know that is pretty unlikely after losing to the Raiders but you don't pack it up for the season after week 2 for draft picks. I am not turning on any coaches either regardless of some DC and OC blunders today. I'm sure a lot of you were shaking your head on that final drive when we threw that incompletion to stop the clock...  Anyways as depressing as today was go Ravens and feel free to prove everyone wrong by winning

  8. I am not at all excited about this like I was with the Kubiak hire because I knew what to expect. I think Oz and company picked him specifically because he was the safe conservative pick that will stick around for a bit (Oz already knew him well also). I don't think we were ready to turn our Offense over to the likes of Gase regardless if he is or isn't the next great up and coming HC.

I will trust the brass on this one until they prove me wrong. But I expect the standards to have been set high and any decrease in production = new OC

  9. We still have people in house that understand Kubiaks system regardless of losing the majority of them. No way I want to see Juan Castillo promoted to OC but point is we can continue the system until we find the right guy. I don't know much about Gase besides Denver fans/media could care less about losing him. Does he know enough about Kubiaks style of west coast offense to continue to build off of what we have in place?

  10. The Ravens did the right thing and did what was needed = big offensive coaching shake up. I'm sure Steve stepped in and was a part of making this all happen as well which I'm happy for. I think Kubiak was hands down the best candidate out there no question about it. He seems like a humble silent professional type and besides for the diaster in Houston last year his record speaks for itself and so do the players that worked under him
