  1. Wow, STA and BAY are still ranked below OSU, despite them both crushing Top 10 teams!

Unfortunately for the #3 team, Stanford has a much juicier schedule, playing ranked opponents the rest of the way: USC, CAL & N. Dame.

BAY plays #12 OK S. and #24 Texas.

None of OHS' remaining opponents are ranked.

  2. 1st Week Thoughts:

ORL really hit the jackpot with Oladipo

    LAL is scrappy

    DET is much improved

    LAC: Finals contender

A healthy MIN is a lethal MIN

    Westbrook's back! WIth a competent C

    WTH, BOS?!

PHI's Holliday trade was very smart

TOR is a tour-de-force (stretching, but I couldn't resist the word play)

WC looks a lot weaker w/ the dismantling of UT & DEN

CLE and WAS aren't going to make any epic leaps this year

  4. Let's see, some horror flicks I've watched lately:

    1. Mama (2013) - This 2013 horror flick went under the radar.  Stars an emo version of Jessica Chastain.  Lots of horror cliches.  But if you like Sinister & Insidious, this isn't too far off.  6/10
    2. Deathwatch (2002) - NETFLIX IW - Not a bad horror flick that is currently streaming.  Set in the German trenches of WWI  6/10
    3. The Skin I Live In (2011) - Antonio Banderas is a sick, sick man in this.  Was a bit of a bore at first, but once it became apparent what he did, you start to question humanity.  6/10
    4. August Underground (2001) - No plot, no credible actors, no direction, and hard to find.  But it makes my 'Most Disturbing Films' list.  Just two guys with a camcorder filming their sick brain projections.  Not for anyone with a weak stomach.  5/10

Anybody have any hidden gem horror flick recommendations?  I'd love to hear them.
