Houston isn't that obscure of a school, and their offense was big news. Not hard to see Keenum play.
And they were probably following my lead. Forgive me if I can't spell every player's name correctly off the top of my head, I had enough trouble getting Juszczyk down.
You only spelled "Keenum" wrong, which is a pretty obscure name, not unlike his college team.
Him or Mettenberger would be good fits, IMO. Mettenberger has the bonus of experience in the system, albeit a simplified version of it. With their talent along the OL they don't need one of these new age guys whose first instinct is to run.
CLE has a lot of problems on their O-line, especially on the right side. I hear a lot about this on their MB.
Meanwhile Texas A&M has been defeated by Mizzo!
Did Manziel collapse again or was it just Sumlin's garbage defense?
That's not going to make his arm NFL caliber.
No matter how you shake it. His arm just isn't good enough. It's on Ponder level, and look at what he is
You're not a sports scientist, you can't diagnose his physical potential, especially just by watching him on TV.
Keenam never had a bad arm. Neither did McGloin. Both were capable of making all the throws.
McCaron doesn't have an arm that's big enough to be fixed.
I must point out that you misspelled not one, but two of the QB's names. How do you know about Keenum though, he played in an extremely obscure school. Few people had seen him play in college.
The weight room won't help with that. That's a god given talent
Give a post-pubescent man a year or two in the weight room and he can shock you. With an NFL condition trainer and dietician, he can improve a lot.
He doesn't fit that offense at all, they would never draft him. Norv needs someone with a lot more arm strength.
It was a joke referencing Brandon Weeden.
Are you implying AJ will be the next Brady??
Regardless, we never got to see much of Brady in college
We've seen plenty of AJ, and the scouts agrees, he's merely a glorified game manager on a team stacked with talent
He's projected to be a quality backup in the NFL
Watch him become the starter for the Browns, lol.
AJ won't be an NFL starter. Minimal arm strength. Not good enough. Not smart enough. Stock wasn't high to begin with.
Not smart enough, he's already a better game manager than Alex Smith! I'm not concerned w/ aem strength, that's what NFL weight rooms are for.
I think it's fair to say McCarron and many Bama defenders hurt their draft stock today. That defense was not what I'm accustomed to seeing from Nick Saban. They seemed passive and reactionary as opposed to aggressive and anticipatory.
What? Bama lost in spite of AJ, not because of him. Their special teams made Cundiff look like a god in comparison.
LOL at Bama losing tonight. Serves em right. Although, they do still have a chance to go to the BCS National Title game, if Auburn loses to Mizzou, and OSU loses to Michigan State. I don't see Alabama being ranked any lower than 4th, right behind FSU/OSU/Auburn.
That's quite plausible, actually.
I wanted to watch Fresno State vs San Jose State but I don't get the channel
Damn, did you miss A LOT!
Yes! Tarantino is making another western! It's not a Django sequel, he announced it on Leno the other night. I'm so glad someone believes in the genre, we don't really get good westerns anymore.
3:10 to Yuma? True Grit? No Country for Old Men? Cowboys and Aliens ( jk)?
Getting psyched for "Her"!!
Yes sirrrrrrrrr! We'll be back on the top of the mountain again! lol!

Good to see Wall continuing to light it up.
Ariza too!
Did they all die?
It's not over yet, but winter (Black Friday) is coming! ![]()
Loving the Game of Thrones story arc on South Park!
LAL @ WAS, tonight on NBA TV!
I'm yet to look at that fantasy team lol
Are you betting on Alabama or Auburn?
For the record, I didn't say it was a good move. I'm just saying don't count the Lakers out next season. But the reality is there was no way the Lakers weren't going to re-sign Kobe. He makes them a ton of money in marketing and merchandise.
Especially in Tinseltown, what with its star fetish.
For the sake of his career, I'm glad that Derrick Rose's surgery will shelve him for the rest of the season. Because had they been unable to repair his meniscus, they would've had to shave it down. He would've been able to return within two weeks, but it would've meant risking bone on bone contact. The same thing that happened to Brandon Roy.
POR was stupid for letting him play 8 days after surgery.
Great games this upcoming week
Very excited
Iron Bowl, baby!! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for a FS upset because Ohio State truly deserves a Championship game after going undefeated for 2 seasons.
I smashed you in Fantasy with Boldin, btw.
One game without Rose and CHI completely forgets how to play D, let alone how to score...

Where do you have him being picked?
