And that applies how?
He played them week 6, when they were hot as you mentioned.
They were overrated. Lynch or AJ?
Huh? Yes he did...week one
Vs AZ
27/38, 299 yards, 2TD/1 INT 100.1 QB Rating
He also played HOU (Number one ranked passing D)
Vs HOU
12/16, 117 yards, 3 TD/0 INT, 134.6 QBR
HOU's D has cooled down a lot, to be fair. They give up points like coupons these days.
No, they would be smart and most likely draft a weapon or OL in anticipation to surround their 2015 QB with talent
Lynch or AJ?
NYJ will give Geno another year and as pointed out CLE wouldn't be interested in AJ
Nothing's guaranteed regarding Geno. Ryan isn't safe, no one's safe on that team anymore.
Adding on to this,
(mathematically) Bradford was set to have 32 TDs, 9 INTs and 3856 yards
Not bad at all
He hadn't faced elite secondaries like AZ when he went down, though.
No, they would be smart and most likely draft a weapon or OL in anticipation to surround their 2015 QB with talent
You overestimate the intelligence and patience of teams like CLE & NYJ. Who on Earth would draft Weeden 15 th overall
?
2/4 he was healthy.
Amendola was never healthy.
Amendola had plenty of big games in STL.
Meanwhile Hundley has declared he is staying
Adding to a stacked 2015 NFL Draft at QB
This also makes it more unlikely a team with a need at QB will "settle" for AJ and name him their franchise guy like Poe thinks lol
It would be the other way around: a middle-of-the-pack team hungry for progress would have less choices.
I'd say Jamarcus was way more overpaid, but really that's just how the rookie pay scale worked so everyone who got taken early was overpaid.
Bradford got the biggest rookie contract ever.
Amendola was always hurt.
Like Bradford?
And outside of Jackson he never had any weapons.
And that oline is porous to begin with
Amendola and a younger Cook come to mind.
I could actually see STL taking a QB in day 2 to push Bradford, but I think they'd rather take Mettenberger or Morris
I think they'll cut Bradford and start anew.
Lol at Rams having "great" OL
I was referring to their Top 3 run game. Where are they ranked in terms of sacks allowed?
Yes he is......
And that oline sucks
Bradford is the most overpaid rookie player ever. I don't care about his Heisman, he never got anywhere in the NFL.
Bradford is 10x the QB McCarron is.
Even on the rare occasion that he was healthy, he wasn't particularly good. And he had an elite RB in jackson to use as a blanket.
Nope, none of them will have to settle for him but they might take him in the 3rd or 4th round to be a back up.
As I said, we shall see.
AJ would work well in STL: great O-line, backs to hand off too and a deep ensemble cast of receivers. Not to mention, they emphasize ball security.
While there are no Lucks, This QB draft class is stacked
In no particular order
Bridewater
Boyd
Carr
Mettenberger
Fales
Stephen Morris
Manziel
Mariota
Hundley
Logan Thomas
Aaron Murray
All have more potential than him
All the QBs with Ms at the start of their names are very iffy. Murray's stock will fall a lot due to his injury. Fales and Thomas are bigger gambles than AJ.
I'd rather have Manziel, nut I probably wouldn't take either. Carr and Hundley are both very good prospects as well. There's no Luck in this draft, but there are a lot better prospects than McCarron as well.
Teams that need QBs:
JAC
MIN
HOU
CLE
TEN
STL
AZ
One of them will have to settle for AJ.
The D Coordinator for A&M and the ST Coordinator for Bama need to be sacked come the end of the postseason.
That may be true, but why would you want a QB like that when there are so many better options out there. Any team he plays for will be limited.
There aren't any Lucks in this year's class. Would you rather have someone reliable like AJ or a wild child like Manziel. The best prospects will be off the table very quickly, snapped up by the likes of JAC & MIN.
If you keep AJ surrounded by a strong ensemble cast, Then I think he'll turn into Alex Smith 2.0 or Trent Dilfer x3. He simply doesn't make stupid mistakes, like a Geno Smith or a Tony Romo.
I used to think the same thing, but guys are getting better when the come into the league. I don't know what exactly has changed, and I certainly wouldn't project a drastic improvement in a player transitioning to the next level. I'm just saying it's happening. If it was anyone other than Cosell saying this I'd take it with more skepticism.
Sports medicine is making QB's transitions smoother and smoother. We'll have to wait and see how AJ pans out.
Cousins is beyond bad. Only reason for the struggle
Not that cut-&-dry, lol. Their run game has really suffered the past couple years due to their ineffective blocking, though it didn't help that their feature back was T-Dich (insider joke) of course.

This is the same team that picked T-Dich #3 overall & tgen discarded him barely a season afterwards.
