I hear A Hijacking is better than Captain Phillips when it comes to the Somali Pirates anyways.  The Danish make some great movies.

 

I actually just got done with the Danish movie The Hunt (2013) w/ Mads Mikklesen.  Excellent movie.  The shared feeling of helplessness you feel w/ the main character is laid on so thick you want nothing more than for him to go all out 'Death Wish'.  Probably has a good chance to win the Oscar for best foreign picture.

Everyone told me Captain Philips was a bunch of nationalist bs.  And I'd puke if I had to watch that Mary Poppins 2-hour promo.

Inside Llewyn Davis - The Oscar's love themselves some Coen Brothers

The Wolf of Wall Street - I know you don't believe the hype, but it will get noticed

Gravity - Is a lock, won't win

Captain Phillips - I don't know why, but one of the Hanks film will get in. Most likely Phillips but Saving Mr. Banks has a chance as well.

I'll pass on the lost-in-space movie and the Hanks movies. Haven't really heard about the Coen Bros. movie.

I don't really care, as a Florida fan I can't stand Florida State, and my dislike of the South prevents me from supporting Auburn.  The only saving grace for Alabama is that they have Nick Saban, and I'm always a fan of great coaching.  Without him, I wouldn't pull for them.

Bound 2 is just awful, and that's ignoring the music video.  I don't think it flows well as a song.

It's not supposed to be straightforward, that's the point of the whole album.

The new ones are awful with bad beats. He's been influenced by Jay-Z way too much and is doing that rap as high art nonsense.

I loved Yeezus' gritty aesthetic. BlKKK Sknhds- hope I didn't misspell- was a masterpiece and "Bound 2" was a throwback to his old joints.

So Rudy Gay along with Acy and Gray is traded to the Kings in exchange for Salmons, Patterson, Hayes and Vasquez.

I love DeMarcus, but Gay alongside him... It will be interesting. Lol

Gay's way to talented to be getting traded twice in less than a year.

Absolutely insane visual effects (there is a gigantic mountain on stage that fogs up and shoots fire and lights), "white jesus" comes out on stage and talks to Kanye, very strange costumes among the background performers along with awesome and strange images on the screen, some classic kanye egotistical rants where he claims to be better than steve jobs and walt disney, and then of course his dope music including an encore of most of his best songs in my opinion.
