what if we trade Jimmy Smith and a 3rd pick. we could get him for around a million more than the Ravens pay Smith who has missed a lot of time it seems each season since he has been here. Just a wild thought.
By trading Jernigan and a 3rd round pick we should have received their 2nd round pick. That would have shown the value. But only getting 3rd round pick in return does not show or feel like there is any value. Maybe the front office is planning to move up in the draft.
I do not agree `giving up a 2nd round player and a 3rd round pick for only a 3 round pick in return. If I am not seeing the value please explain it to me.
Sherman is not Raven material. He is to much self adsorbed and to much of a distraction. If we trade Jernigan it better be for a 2nd round pick or a player of equal talent.

Ozzie said we aren't done making moves, so I wondering if we were bringing in players for visits, that's all. No big deal.

just wonder with all the teams looking at players why we weren't this year. We have been pretty active this year where we usually aren't.
Why are we not bringing in players for workouts like the rest of the league?

And I still expect OL early in the draft.
With Jensen and Urschel in the lineup last year the offense struggled a lot.

Mike Wallace: Speed Burner
Breshard Perriman: Speed Burner
Chris Moore: Speed Burner
Michael Campanaro: Route Runner/slot
Keenan Reynolds: Route Runner/slot
We don't have that tough possession/fights for the ball guy that can just pick up some first downs and be a redzone threat.
I hope we see a lot from Chris Matthews in training camp to give him a shot this year.
I think Cordarrelle Patterson is a free agent, I don't think it would be a break the bank deal to get him to come to Baltimore.
Besides Pryor, what free agent out there would help this team alot and not be a CAP issue?

I would like if he was there at 16.
I see that WR Andrew Hawkins asked for his release. at 5'7 and 180 lbs he could be a great slot/return guy and I don't think he would cost much. He could replace injury prone Campanaro. Mangold could be a nice change.
Just moving coaches to different jobs is not much of a change, they still coach the same. A true coach change would mean to bring in someone new.

work the slot, stretch the field and Salsa Dance.

His numbers have dropped drastically and I don't see him as the possession type reciever we're looking for - but it's a thought. Initially I would say no. For some reason I get the feeling this is the year we buck the trend and go after a top notch playmaker and make a splash. Jeffrey or Marshall is my guess. Ofcourse Garcon makes a lot of sense too and won't be as pricey.
Garcon is linked to the Rams as a potential landing spot. The Rams are also getting ready to move on from Kenny Britt according to ESPN.
Victor Cruz was just released, should we go after him?
We need young pass rushers and OLB's who are strong and fast enough to get to the QB and set the edge.
I just saw this on twitter,
Leaks by Steelers about Antonio Brown could be a message to the rest of the league: Make us an offer for him.
What would it cost to get him? And would you want him?
I think ILB just moved way up on our draft board. Where should we draft that position and who fits the bill?
with everyone in Jupiter FL. I don't think we'll hear anything news worthy until they get back.
Who can we poach from other teams to fill the voids?
9 minutes ago, rmcjacket23 said:Likely to be franchise tagged by the Steelers. Don't think he ever sniffs FA.
So you were right when you said we won't have a shot at signing him.
I think a team with a ton of cap money grabs him and will match the franchise tag and be willing to give up a 1st round pick.
just a thought here, if Harbaugh wants to add a play-maker at running back why don't we make a play for Leveon Bell. Now I realize we won't have a shot at signing him but anything can happen for the right price.
It really doesn't it matters who our QB, WR, RB and O-line are if Marty does not change everything and come up with a complete new offense. I have a feeling we will be looking the same results next season. But it will all start with the draft, I pray to the football gods that Ozzie has a good draft and can get play makers to fix the issues.

I really hope the Chris Matthews at 6'5 228 lbs get every chance to prove himself and be a valuable target.
