O-line is key to keeping big ben on the bench. We need breaks maybe 3 turnovers to win or long scoring drives with Tucker just kicking extra points. Go Joe,out play big ben and hope Elvis and T-sizzle play like young lions again.
8-8 ain't great.....................but remember when John would not take 3 points in all those early soft season games we lost by a point or two? The Ravens with just US scoring the Tucker way early would already be 10-4 and leading in AFC North. 10-6 would be wild card territory too.Hey 10-6 is not out of the question BUT we did have a very easy schedule the 1st half that by bad choices became alot tougher than necessary. Harbaugh is becoming just another NFL coach with flaws, time to blame him for his CHOICES not just Flacco.
How about an innovative offense that allows the Ravens D to sit and watch 12-13 play drives with scoring more than Tucker from "50"? If Marty was the answer "WE" wouldn't have been able to hire him.
Very little imagination in play calling seems "our" norm.Marty's plays seem bland more suited to a fit experienced run oriented O-line that is paired with a stout defense capable of holding down scoring. If anything the 3 and out in 38 seconds was THE WORST PLAY calling of all year. Three runs behind the right side of out O-line ? Lucky we still can CAW till Christmas Day when we face a REAL DEFENSE who also has an offense that sends Brown down town with an intact healthy o-line. Good Luck Ravens "MORNING" in Ravenland is good for 7 more days. The Steelers can be run against..............but whatever happened to those quick throws to RBs out of our back field? I'll love our Ravens forever but ELITE JOE needs an OC that is a little innovative,a little daring and less "OLD" school.
Glimpses of the Terrance West we thought he was out of Towson, could be scrap heap to solid 2 or three if Forsett goes elsewhere. Urban will love the replays when he sees what he did.
If Bortles beats Joe because we have no recievers it's Ozzie & Harbs who let this season turn into a debacle by not addressing the lack of Flacco targets. Steve Smith was better than could have been expected and Perriman was damaged goods and his desire looks suspect. Welker was out there we got Givens&Ross. No Playoffs in sight. "TRUST" is a 2 way street. Good Luck Ravens....................4th&36th picks next year.
Jacoby Jones fits
19-19 since Super Bowl says it all. People got paid for past deeds and certain draft picks didn't work out. Kubiak is 5-0 and Manning looks like the lost rookie QB in his system but their defense&special teams do just enough to win. Good teams, staffed by good coaches get the most out of their talent. High draft picks can rebuild us in two years after cap decisions and coaching changes the Ravens will be back. Schedule hurts this year too.
Sorry but John Harbaugh might need to turn loose his old buddies from his special team up 95 north days. Castillo without Kubiak's genius is Castillo. Trestman needs three downs and a wider field, and everybody being able to be in motion. Pees needs two pass rushers or some blitz packages to cover for CBs that can't cover for 5 seconds every down. Coaches need to move on and John needs some help or one year will be 4 since Ravens played Ray Lewis,Ed Reed football.
Hard to admit but this team sounds beat. Cardinals on the road spells doom. Carson Palmer must be chomping to unleash Fitzgerald,Brown, etc running free behind Webb,Hill,Wright, etal. ARI.-37---Ravens 27. If Suggs is this valuable at 33 how do we win with him 34 getting paid and recovering from 2nd major injury. Perriman can't heal or likes the 1st round money with no work? In Ozzie we trust is getting shaky. Trestman might not be funny,or a genius,or innovative but his attack certainly is boring, sort of Cameron like without the inc.run, draw ,punt aspect of familiarity. Wait till next year, lots of high draft picks to trade.
Trestman is not an offensive genius,Flacco is not an elite QB,Steve Smith can't quit,Dean Pees is saddled with DBs that proved to other teams they can't play. "If" Suggs going out has revealed that the core of our defense is all smoke and mirrors then the blame for this season rests with Ozzie&John. I predicted 6-10 with our schedule and Kubiak leaving, now that looks like a pipe dream 4-12...............maybe with luck we'll win 5 more games but that looks impossible. You're never as good as you look winning or as bad as WE looked yesterday but the 49ers as a barometer sort of shows one draft won't fix this team.
Finger pointing and excuses, the mark of a team mind set that knows the truth about itself but won't admit it. Rejects, replacements wearing purple&black but not Raven football players are taking the field now. Ozzie? Ozzie...............................what happened?.
Fight? It seemed on the final possession that the Raven 0-line had given up. Jogging toward the 1st down spot in the final seconds showed no fight, only well paid men resigned to losing that game, coaches mired in a team that in no way resembles Raven football. Watching this game seemed to sum up what the players think of themselves. Get paid, don't get hurt and it's acceptable to lose. Fight? Where, where?
Injuries happen,so good coaches are schemers that use smoke and mirrors to try to survive the set backs, great coaches scheme for Belichik and they just keep winning. Pees&Trestman are very average so good luck in 2017.
Once again OZZIE knew. He wasn't going to mortgage the Ravens in 2017 for this "team". The defense couldn't stop a back-up to a "mistake". The offense under Genius Trestman couldn't get Megatron open with a passing scheme. 4 touchdowns and a FG at home and I watched a dispirited team waltz by the kick that ended our season. With 2016 behind us it's time to release Schaub, and play that kid some. Flacco will be good 8 more years, time to play some young guys and give Joe a rest from trying to adapt to Trestman. Pitiful but please don't think WE could have won today if only Tucker hit the 51 yarder. McKown became the all time single game Cleveland Brown QB in passing yards at M&T Bank stadium. Dean Pees was limited by injury but where was the effort to do something, anything to reverse the trend. Please don't get anyone hurt the rest
of the year-Get a high draft choice rotation. John Harbaugh needs to clean house.
Forget everything-Go all in on Jeffery pay him a bonus to sign long term deal, secure his family's future and have Perriman a Alshon with Joe for the next three years.. Take advantage of Bear's house cleaning.
I actually saw some Trestman genius in a couple of plays but the Trestman- Castillo ballet, zone run blocking schemes left Joe Flacco defenseless against the short side blitz. Five sacks,an int.,a fumble and a battering waiting, waiting for the Trestman plays to develop with the receivers currently on the team and healthy. Will the Bears deal Jeffery? Trade for him now,pay him because we have a chance this year
but not as currently staffed,
Want Ad: Receiver wanted Fast if possible only 6'3" or above need apply, must be able to understand genius offensive schemes that look like 2005,2006 failed old school run based punting attack.
Davis looked valuable as a "nickel" and made some nice plays. Babin was not noticeable except once on a sideline pic that showed his name#53 right?
Say what you will............but Joe Flacco got pounded and Trestman had no answer for the short side blitz, Maybe Juan Castillo had no answer but the run game clicked some and we won. That said if Trestman is a genius I must be Enstein. Someone must find either a line that can block for 6 to 8 seconds or a reciever that can get open in 2 seconds. Play calling has tp protect Joe,our tight ends are either terrible or we have no plays for them. Pittsburgh struggled at the corners but the Trestman ballet zone Castillo coached line couldn't give our offense a chance to hit a pass till late. We won but Alshon Jeffery looks worth a 4th round pick with Smith,Campanaro ailing,Perriman a bust and new life in our season. Joe needs help!.
If Babin doesn't grasp our defense who in the line up does?
The whole Raven defense learned to spell H-i-l-l. Too bad they couldn't recognize him till he went by..........................bye.
Wasted the 1st half trying to get them out of that stuff. Kubiak would have wasted one series then the play calling would have changed. Trestman is too predictable it seems. The defense doesn';t adapt well. No pass rush and no schemes to get one. Good Luck Ozzie is on the way
to good tradable draft picks.
Two winnable games, heck three and either the offense came away with FGs or the defense played ole with wide recievers. Face it,schedule didn't make us 0-3 and Monroe,Perriman and Suggs untried replacement better make us way better or we get some good draft picks next year.

I respect Big Ben bit think refs always look at Ravens as having to prove they don't commit penalties before throwing their damn flags. Our O-line holds as much as the Steelers but "they" often get the benefit of the doubt and no FLAG is tossed."{WE" seem to get called for every ticky tac foul the strippers imagine they saw. A 5th beating in a row seems too tough but an evenly called game may favor US. GO Joe,outplay "morning" football and Pittsburg.
