illegal motion negates a play so if that's the case the only penalty that should apply is against the offense but then there'd essentially be free reign by defenses to head hunt.

Now I do think he'll be a good teacher as he led film study nights at his home for many years and guys like Webb, CMac and other have credited him for their development in film study. Sometimes the greatest are that way because they just have aspects about them that weren't taught and can't be taught to others.

So when Dallas traded in front of us to draft Dez, we should have taken Gronk at #25, instead of trading back and taking the three players that we got in that trade (Pitta, Dickson and Kindle).

Of course, if we were going to play the full hindsight game, Gronk gets drafted long before #25 in that draft. As somebody mentioned, he wasn't even the 1st TE taken in that draft class. Plenty of teams whiffed on 1st round picks that would have rather had Gronk.

Where he should have gone is irrelevant. He went in the second rd thusly his contract was not going to be close to the first pick.

rookie contract was 2010-2013. No he didn't demand a high rookie contract like Jamarcus because he was drafted much later. 

He did have his contract done to be highest paid TE and New England also met with rosenhaus a month ago about Gronk again.  

He's also a guy who had injury issues in 2012 and 2013. So to the other poster comment about winning the sb easier. I'm not sure that's the case if Gronk is unavailable. 

Like said earlier this isn't madden where you essentially plug and play and avoid injuries. 

Ftr New England also only won once with Gronk too.

He's yet to show success as a position coach let alone dc.   Yes he was a very talented safety that had unreal instincts. That doesn't always transfer over to being an excellent coach.

If you revisit the draft. We traded back AFTER Dallas took Dez. It wasn't a decision to take kindle instead of Dez being that Dallas picked before us and once picked that's when we traded back.

If doom AND Suggs can't play then I'd consider an aging vet pass rusher but as it stands now no way I'd consider a new pass rusher let alone a guy who hasn't exactly been an effective pass rusher the last two years.  

I I get that Baltimore made him who he was but that doesn't mean we bring him back or that he'd actually produce if he came back.

Not overly concerned about haloti. He didnt play well last yr and I don't expect Joe to hold on to the ball too long.
