Did you read what I said? I definitely stated he is doing a lot more than just running into blockers. He's doing a great job. It's just an observation I have made.

So then what's the problem. As stated above sometimes one ilb plays like a defensive fb and is assigned to blow up blockers so others can flow freely to the ball.

is that not what typically happens ? pessimistic? just realistic. we can't afford the market for a top tier DL. D Lineman are getting paid 100M now a days... it's just reality.

So we should kept Arthur jones, Cory Redding, Kruger and McPhee?

The can afford a top tier dl and if one is projected to continue that dominance they give a fair contract. May be understanding that some of their success is based on the players we have around them is why we don't break the bank for everyone.  As much as I loved ngata as a raven his Detroit production doesn't warrant paying him just so people like you can say "oh they do pay dl afterall"

Tiznut can you still get the older players, I wish I had gotten Ed Reed when I had a chance

Looks like there's some Ed reeds on eBay.

Jerseys i have are purple Eric turner. Black Ray Lewis. Purple and white Jamal Lewis and white ray rice.   No longer wear jerseys even on game days tho.

His playing time in the past and present is about the only thing that matters when it comes to determining if he actually will get any playing time in the future with this team.

We'd have to cut a better player to keep him, which doesn't make the team any better.

Again if we weren't planing trying to use him next yr he'd be in a similar position as campanaro.

Thought it was clear before but I see you're insistent on having the last word. Your opinion does not change what I've said. Your opinion is simply that. You disagreeing with mine is completely irrelevant as I've stated mine and given clear concise reasons for them. But yes keep trying to debate.

But he's really not a part time player. We've paid him for almost two years to NOT play for us.

Serviceable players like him are a dime a dozen in this league, and we've got at least 3 and maybe even 4 RBs on this roster right now that can do everything he can do... and they're healthy and mostly just as cheap.

His playing time this yr and last doesn't negate what I wrote.   Again I understand that you disagree but it still doesn't change my assessment of what will happen.

I doubt that. He'd be in the final year of his rookie deal coming off basically back-to-back wasted seasons.

We would still have Allen, Dixon and West most likely, with the ability to go get another RB in the draft or FA.

Frankly, I wouldn't even see us keeping 4 RBs most years, so this doesn't make much sense to me either.

His rookie contract is cheap and he's serviceable. It's the right pay for what essentially is a part time player.

  7. He will get benched once someone beats him out for playing time.

He isn't flawless but there's not a better CB on the roster.  For some reason being a former first rounder people will complain if he plays off his man, never mind that they don't know what his assignment really is, but not complain as much with a nickel corner struggling to keep coverage on his man.

We avg 3.3 yards on 24 (real) carries. Are you guys worried about our run game? Did Rex do stuff to stop the run first? How do you guys see us fixing it and which RB will emerge to take the lead back role?

Nope. Not worried because it's just one game and the running game wasn't the focus of the game plan.

    Sincere question here:

Why does everyone seem to be so excited and making a big deal about Flacco's audible out of one play into a better play that just happened to result in a TD?  Isn't that what ALL quarterbacks are suppose to be doing?

More often than not people call it a good or bad play based on the team executing it as well.

  10. Not upset about anything. Pointing out that  some of you are acting as if the same issues/reservations that happened 4 yrs and 3 coaches ago are hanging over Joes head now isn't being upset at all. But again it's the Internet and people have to claim others are upset for some reason whenever another person points out how ridiculous their observation is.

So if it makes you feel better about acting like this is a rare occurrence by calling me upset sure. Go for it. Doesn't change the fact that he's been audibiling for years.

Yeah, I fell even more in love with this organisation when my kid was the Tee Kid.
They can't show appreciation to all the fans like that, but they sure do roll out the red carpet for some when they are able.
