Not too many teams have a great offense and a great defense.  Right now, even with last nights shredding, we do have one of the best defenses in the league.  I definitely get the frustration of the offense side of the ball never, ever developing.

But...It's pretty hypocritical to say that you want us to build up a great offense, but then you dont care if we win like in 2000, while in the previous sentence you are complaining about the offense.

It's not hypocritical. I'll explain it for you.

I would like to see teams fear our offense for once but that's secondary to winning a championship. It's why I said I would like to see us be an offensive threat BUT ultimately I'd be happier winning.

  2. Seems like john gets heat for something Ozzie has taken blame for: not reloading the talent.

I can't see john going anywhere and tbh I'm more inclined to be on the year too late side in regards to trying to fire him like with billick.

My issue with the staff is that offensively we haven't been built up like the defensive side where we were seeing coaches move on due to hc opportunities.

I would like to see Baltimore be an offensive threat every game but ultimately if we win it all I don't care if we are redoing 2000. Lets others get confused on how we win just win

Such a useless post,  but a legit topic.  How about suggesting solutions? Cut him? Trade him? What about his cap hits? Try to sound informed at least.

When healthy he's the best cb we have. So any discussion about getting rid of him needs to start with lessening the reliance on him.i.e better drafting at the cb position.

Its just funny how when discussing a top players injury it's always "well just cut him" as opposed to why the position group falls off so much with that loss.

People can say whatever they want but Elam blew it, Hogan ran right by him. I'm 77 years old and I'm not sure Elam could cover me. I watched him play at Florida and was happy when he was drafted but I now rue that pick. If he is still on the Ravens team next year it will bge the height of stupidity.

You're the type to stick your fingers in your ear and say "I can't hear you" whenever people use facts to dispute your bias....

Im making a point.. When Ravens have a great game networks don't talk about it. But when Tom Brady has an awesome 300 yards passing game oh yeah the networks will mention how great he was in that game.

Your point is stupid and false. NFL.com talks about New England blowouts too. That said it's ridiculously stupid that you're even bringing up patriots media attention with regards to Baltimore.  So again if you want to talk about the teams whose bandwagons you jump on go to their mb.

    notice how it's Ravenstalk.

Well nobody ever mentions when the Pats blow out teams. So its ok when Brady and company does it and nobody else?

So your response to op is to bring up the lack of attn on this mb for the pats blowout games?

You do know they have their own board. May be you should go there

Was added at around noon time, and focused on defense strength only, not whining...... so stop whining about people whining and stop complaining about folks complaining :) my purple friend! lol

You didn't bother reading the very next post did you? So again 3 articles on the Ravens win means your posts are just full of ignorance

after all you posted today that there were no articles and yet I showed 3 posted including the ones you want to dismiss as posted today.

if anything i've been happier this year with the ravens coverage by nfl.com than any other year since i started following the ravens - in some cases they have been more optimistic about this team than most these boards and me at times

It's game dependent. This game had more highlight plays than last week so it's going to get more mentions.

We will let it rest by saying Scoreboard. Pittsburgh sucks.

Another foolish post. I'm happy we beat Pittsburgh but that game is irrelevant to what you whined about.

Youre just looking to whine and then complain when it's revealed you don't have a legitimate reason. If you truly only cared about scoreboard then you wouldn't have ever started off with your original whining post

My question is why were Flacco/Forsett/Smith ranked 29th in the league bias. A Superbowl MVP is at the bottom of the list behind guys like Bradford/Smith/Bortles/Siemien/Osweiler come on man. I get it and I love the undergo roll but it is nauseating to listen to how great Pitt and NE are

Because one is inconsistent in the regular season. One had one good season in his career and one was coming off a major injury and is 37.

I just think that's the issue: targets.  The OC can game plan all he wants to get BP involved but Joe is the one throwing the ball, he obviously favors SSr and Wallace,  with good reason.  3-5 targets aren't enough to get him producing the way we want,  we see top wrs in the league being targeted over 100 times a year easily,  so logically those wrs catch more.   If BP was getting 10 targets a game... I'm willing to bet he would of had a couple monster games by now

I just think we have too many supposed weapons at wr to have as few passing yards as we do.

$10,000?  So what?  You don't know @K-Dog or anyone else's financial status in this place for that matter.  And the word "expensive" is a relative term.  It depends on who you are talking to.  Cause what's "expensive" to you may not be to someone else.  And IF he wanted to spend $10,000 on attending a football game instead of buying a used car...that's his business!

I'm just baffled at a man spending a few thousand for a weekend in New Orleans has the audacity to say something about a man spending a few thousand for a week in London.

Generally I don't pay attention to media about the Ravens outside of Maryland. Most other states/teams cannot stand the ravens. Yes, we have a very mediocre offense right now but currently have the number 1 defense - that at least says something about us.

    That we are revisiting 2000?!

btw if we end up with a sb win with don't care if it draws parallels to 2000
