  1. So if the have been looking at Jake for a long time and they drafted staley after they offered KO money to stay and play I'm thinking they were looking at replacing Monroe since season ended. But again you can ignore all the other stuff and act like Ozzie is new to the league
  2. Ditto. Wondering if there's still thoughts of Stanley bumping down this yr too
  3. Ramsey and jack are guys I'm anxious to see how their careers go. Ramsey's measureables were great but in a stat driven world he was lacking. Myles is very versatile and I think he can produce at any lb position that said Ozzie and crew see Correa the same way ftr the last ucla guy I wanted went to jax too and we ended up with a very good replica
  4. So Mosley and Williams are given pro bowl players despite you saying we have no pro bowl players in the 2-3yr range. Oh btw this will be Williams 4th yr. so um strike 2. At at some point im going to expect you to admit you're not a Ravens fan and simply just a casually nfl fan that hasn't figured out how to atleast Google basic stuff
  5. Pro bowl. We ain't got no time for that!! oh btw there's a guy named CJ Mosley who was a pro bowler as a rookie who is now entering his 3rd yr.... one other thing. Speaking about where the defense left off. I wonder if you know about the second half of last yr and the points allowed.
  6. A lot of articles pre draft talked about Stanley being a top tackle. Even on the Ravens site they talked about the fact that Baltimore could very well take the "boring" Stanley over Tunsil. Having read a lot of that stuff it's no surprise to see someone claim Tunsil was better but can't say why they were told he was the exciting pick at LT so they believe it.
  7. So. What's the point here? Is it that you should be having more discussions with your dr? Change primary care physician? Or an attempt to discuss nfl drug regimens?
  8. Lol at using Monroe being cut as a reason to bash the front office/harbaugh. Yeah they chose to cut him instead of keeping a guy who ultimately retired and that's supposed to be a bad thing? Then have the audacity to Fuss about dead money that was gonna be there even in retirement... As for keeping him as a back up. Hell he missed so money games last yr he was the back up so now they have guys that are expected to be more durable and in case you didn't know durability leads to dependability
  9. Balfan it's the kindle experience that makes me paranoid about our second rd picks especially when we have traded out of the first as we did with kindle and upshaw. That said I liked upshaw but he just wasn't the pass rusher we wanted/needed
  10. Am I the only that feels that we can just dig up the old thread and save ourselves the time of typing out our views on his case all over again? In regards to the CFL if teams questioned if rice was declining his last full yr in the nfl how the hell do you think teams will view him after 3 yrs in the CFL. Like was mentioned he'd be too old and forgotten to then go back as an nfl rb
  11. Yes we want a wr that fits our system and the yr in sf saw instability at the qb position and an out of their league coaching staff. Can't solely use that to knock Torrey and with the new staff Torrey will be in a system he can play in again. Anyways this isn't a Torrey thread so I'll move on
  12. He was offered #2 money. He was made an offer going into his last yr. http://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2015/02/03/ravens-made-torrey-smith-an-offer/
  13. I'm the opposite. I think Torrey proved his worth especially as a 2nd rd pick. He was a guy wh initially struggled so we got Evans then he blew up vs the Rams. Considering our history at wr he excelled for a 2nd rd pick and his third yr was statistically his best. He had highs in receptions, yards and ypg. His final year he had a high of 11 tds . The only thing that disappointed me was him leaving add to that a lot of posters seemed to favor Doss over him in camp that yr. So from my pov unless you expected Reggie waynesque numbers early on I don't see how Torrey failed to meet expectations to the point that he's the most disappointing Ravens player to anyone.
  14. If he's acknowledging Health as a reason he was on the outs then I respect him for not playing the mj card.
  15. Partially agreed. Figured he'd get a camp invite but do to his last yr with us I understand why he doesn't.
  16. Ezekiel will be cleared. Police already refused to arrest him based on evidence the ex was full of it...
  17. So full of crap but yeah why not paint a picture that harbaugh is so strong against marijuana that he cut Monroe over it. Never mind that he isn't a gay marriage advocate but loved Ayanbadejo. Nevermind that he was asked about political issues when both Birk and Ayanbadejo made their very public, very different remarks about same sex marriage. No let's ignore that to try and paint a negative picture because you have nothing of value to add
  18. Seriously saying 9 yes is long enough for a coach lol. So what's the excuse regarding New England
  19. Don't disagree but remember how he said he was focused and healthy a week before he was cut...
  20. Meh I'd respect it more if it wasn't preceded by him bad mouthing teams. He ultimately quits because of fear of injury and heart not being in it. Quite possibly what teams like Baltimore saw in him but yet he blamed it on activism.
  21. Not sure how an undrafted player can actually been the most disappointing player we've ever had. I will go with Arthur brown , Sergio and Dan Cody my top three. Brown because he was picked high when we needed lb help and still doesn't see the field. Sergio for obvious reasons Dan Cody because he played in less games than kindle [profanity deleted] and he was also a second rd pick
  22. If the number gets retired who else would we even have....
  23. Nope. Last chance was rosenhaus who dumped him as well
  24. Crap I didn't see that. I'm guessing someone saw that Browns trick play that was called back and thought it was clever as a routune play
  25. Yeah phelps cleaned up some of the bad habits over time. You do realize that just a week ago manziel was still partaking in the same bad habits he got in trouble for in Cleveland. There is no reason for Baltimore to have a conversation with a below average qb who is facing both jail time and suspension.
