Even if Suggs lost a bit I expect early on he'll draw double teams off reputation alone. While it's obviously just my perception . It just comes across as a guy who isn't overly confident in his ability to transfer to the nfl game. The whole thing is that he wants more money upfront and he doesn't want him being cut and picked up by a new team to count towards money being guaranteed by the rookie contract. I get that it's the only thing that can be negotiated in rookie contracts now but it just seems weird to me that a hold out happens over a guy who wants to have all his guaranteed paid by yr2 and also be able to negotiate with a new team at that point if/when he's cut by SD i I had the same vibe when Jamarcus did it in Oakland. It makes me view it as the guy knows he's gonna bust so he wants to ensure he's paid early

Billick cause his team has only missed the playoffs once and that was with cassell and they still won 10 games. Arians because he's aggressive and creative. Tomlin because, rivalry aside, he seems like a cool down to earth guy that players would enjoy playing for. Sean Payton and mike McCarthy would be intriguing but I think ultimately a payton team ends up being undisciplined and I think gb borders on underachieving with the qb they have
