  1. I could see the Ravens putting up 27 pts on the Steelers D, but not the Steelers putting up 31 on the Ravens...esp with the 2 picks by Ben - I thought this game was a rap in the Ravens favor . It's still apparent these two teams still bring out the best in each other. Don't know what the Steelers are gonna do with this W, but good game once again bros...
  2. "NFL star Antonio Brown is making himself at home in Hollywood. The Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver paid $6.6 million ... LINK: http://www.behindthesteelcurtain.com/2016/3/25/11305694/antonio-brown-pays-6-6-million-for-home-with-built-in-synagogue?_ga=1.254228488.1812942263.1403652396
  3. I also heard the NFL is re-initiating it's efforts to go big in China ?? Anyway: Cairo, Egypt (CNN)It's an opportunity most people can only dream of -- being trained by stars from the National Football League. That's especially true when former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is the man teaching you how to go into "Beast Mode." 4. Haven't kept up with him much since he left the Steelers, but never saw a DB he couldn't get behind when he was with the team. Mostly, he would "out-run" Ben's deep passes and would have to slow down or come back to the ball on the vast majority of them... thus getting tackled or the defender catches up and bats the ball down. If Ben had a slightly more powerful arm, his stats would have been off the charts. However, he (Wallace) was not very effective mid-field, but if he caugh an underneath pass in full stride he could "easily" take it to the house. Good pick up.
  5. Article: Nearly a decade after his final game as coach of the Steelers, Bill Cowher gave a very honest answer about why he decided to walk away from football. In a very revealing article written by Rolling Stone... LINK: http://pit.247sports.com/Bolt/Bill-Cowher-on-why-he-retired-I-felt-like-a-prisoner--40847451
  6. I'm a dog lover, but there comes a point when you just have to let it go after a person serves their time and seems to be a determined, law-abiding, contributing member of society. I wouldn't even be surprised that at some point Vick gets a pardon for his conviction as people who've done worse have in the past. Just like in the case with all the teams Vick played with since his release from prison, the protests will gradually fade away. If you can remember, some fans even protested the hiring of Mike Tomlin (to a healthy degree)...things turned out well. Don't really know how good Vick's game is now days, but I do know that as of a few days ago the talent level dropped "dramatically" at the QB position after Ben. Landry Jones doesn't have it anymore like he did in his college years and is simply a terrible passer. The other guy is a rookie and of course Grad. is out. All that being said, as of right now, I think the acquiring of Vick "as a back-up" was a fairly good decision. He and Tomlin being friends for many years probably didn't hurt his chances either.
  7. Wait a minute. Is'nt a popular green plant legal in both Seattle and Denver ? What should we call this Super Bowl ? This is history in the making.
  8. How have you been lately? I've heard you've been quite occupied with work.

I'm also in school! Just got 100 on my Calculus final! Having a double major must be stressful. I'm probably going to end up with 1 major and 2 minors.

If you can get that math down and packed you can just about tackle any subject no problem. I highly recommend going to college and seeking a "career" and not a 9-5 job based on a "trade". Get a job asap in your field and go to school (at least part-time, etc...) until you get your PhD. You'll never want for anything after that. :).

I'm looking ahead to graduating in 3 years an then getting my master's.

  9. The browns defense has been playing good all year so I'm pleased that we got 28 on em' even though Ben was a little rusty. I was in a Steeler's bar watching the game and glanced over to another tv and saw you guys beating NE with the game almost over... I thought ya'll had em...

  10. Congats: Rothisberger did great on his return, making 3 TD passes. Mendenhall did great too with 24 REC AND 77 YD. Your defense sacked McCoy twice in the first half: just what the Steelers' D-line is famous for!

  11. yea. we played Housh in that SB with Seattle so the D should have known how to stop him... just goes to show that every play counts.

  12. My bad flac... got caught up with moving the last several days. But Yea. That was a good game. Was not like the D to give up a big TD like that but flacco saw him open and connected... Well. Ben is back and will play his first game this weekend so I want to see how good the team actually is over the next 2-3 games...
