  1. Also not just on our side of the ball ... Penalties in this game were vast; I feel the Refs were trigger happy (didn't affect the game immensely) but still were a factor.
  2. Maybe this will be the year we get a top 10 pick ... and with the salary cap space we gain get someone significant. Its so unfortunate, but with being 0-3 and heading into Pittsburgh I don't see us doing anything now.
  3. Bengals will run away with this division now ... The Injury to Big Ben has a tremendous impact so we'll see .. but we play them on a short week.
  4. I'm with you. I like Pees, he's a good DC .. but great? No. Bend don't break works when you have guys like Reed and Lewis. When you don't, you have to scheme to make things happen. He hasn't...
  5. Line a Safety up in the slot vs. Green and he'll do that .. thank Pee's for that.
  6. Thats what top pick, top flight receivers can do for you ... would be nice.
  7. That was such a CFL play from Trestman (former CFL guy) I'm dying of laughter ... worked out well though.
  8. Ozzie can draft a TE ... thats for sure.
  9. I was all for him, thought he'd be great ... but now I agree. He's Cam Cameron 2.0 and I hate it.
  10. Worst play call Ive seen in a long time. WTH ... we're driving it throwing downfield and we do that.
  11. Thats big time Jimmy .... when we needed it the most, lets hope we can put up 7 here.
  12. Yeah I woke up to that and wasn't pleased ... not long before he's IR'ed for the year.
  13. Soooo many flags on both sides ... So frustrated, it ruins all flow in the game.
  14. He has all the leverage because he and the FO know he's working with a bunch of retreads right now ... and the 'great' oline from last year is very poor right now.
  15. NO WAY thats a catch and how disrespectful of Marvin Lewis to go for that .... WE need to come out and smash this team 2nd half for this nonsense.
  16. Terrible call Pees, wow. Over/Under on Green ... Just line Jimmy up and let Brooks cover elsewhere.
  17. Stacked box .. do we have Adrian Peterson on this team? C'mon ... lets line up in the gun and stop running it up the gut at that line.
  18. That play could be a defining moment in this early season ... Good for John, thats leadership.
  19. Ohh yeah it did, directly on his number.
  20. Throwing off your back foot to your FB in the flat ... just terrible by Flacco, but also a horrible play call if we're being honest.
  21. I think motivational stuff will get you pumped for the game, but once kickoff happens that stuff fades away and its just football. And when it comes to just football, we simply haven't been that good and having Ray around won't help.
  22. This isn't as bad as it seems I don't think, this team could easily be 2-0 right now. The refs stealing a game sealing INT from us is terrible, but Steve Smith could have easily had the game winning TD. So where do the Ravens go from here? Bengals and Steelers up next will decide our season undoubtedly. I have the feeling we're either going 2-2 after these games or 0-4. We'll see what kind of team we have next week and whether we can overcome adversity.
  23. As a result of the injury I was curious to look back at the 2003 NFL draft and see where players are/were at in their careers compared to Suggs. Terrific draft and a lot of guys are still playing; Andre Johnson, Carson Palmer, Charles Tillman, Anquan, Witten, Gates, Romo and Mathis. Guys like Polamalu, Nnamdi, McGahee, Dallas Clark, Lance Briggs have retired. Suggs is now 32 years old while a lot of those guys are now 33/34. I guess the point is when you look at Terrell compared to those other guys he definitely has some miles left on him. We know he can rehab an achilles and come back, and a year off will be good for the rest of his body. Lets hope he comes back and finishes in Baltimore.
  24. I agree, I'd love to see a bold move ... eventually you have to get those guys at the top end of the draft that are stars for a long time (like Suggs at 10th overall). Its a difficult call to make, and really depends how you grade the rest of the draft. The Julio Jones trade was great for the Falcons b/c they got a star player and the Browns got nothing out of all those picks. Conversely, there's always the Herschel Walker trade that set up a Cowboys dynasty.
