It's a small amendment but I can think of a bunch of plays over the years where a guy was effectively horse collared, but the hand didn't quite get inside the back of the pads. I hate seeing horse collars and anything to prevent them, or at least penalize for the attempt is a good change.

I have zero interest in Ryan Clady becoming a Raven. He was a dominant LT from 2009 - 2013 which got him paid very well, but those years are well behind him and he's almost 30. He's had a lisfranc season ender, and last year a ACL tear took his season. I don't see much game left in him and would not be worth any asset we'd have to give up, imo.

College teams just don't develop FB's like they once did. The College game is all about spread offense, I mean Alabama didn't even have a true FB this season. We've seen the last of the old school, true FB's and Leach was probably the last one.

Nobody would trade for Ryan Clady. He still has a few years left on a pretty hefty contract, he's almost 30 and hasn't played a full season in a few years. I have more faith in Monroe playing a full season over Clady making a comeback off that ACL tear.

I wish Ray the best, hopefully he does well ... Hopefully this is the beginning of his second chance.

I don't know what these rankings are based off of but they are a little suspect to me, imo. For Example: Travis Kelce - 72 rec 875 yards and 5 TD's compared to Maxx Williams - 32 rec 268 yards 1 TD. Yet Maxx is rated 3 spots ahead of Kelce. Again, Nick Boyle - 18 rec 153 yards 0 TD's compared to Gary Barnidge - 79 rec 1,043 yard 9 TD's yet Boyle is 4 spots ahead of Barnidge. Take it for what it's worth but the list doesn't make much sense to me. Don't get me wrong, our TE's are beasts and have bright futures but the stats are what they are.

This sucks, I really don't like it at all. If we play the long-term game I see one silver lining; Ed Reed is mentored under Rex and comes back here as DC in 3-5 years. Otherwise, just another tough break for the fans ...

How long will Big Ben continue to play through injuries? He's always been a guy who gets banged up, but now each injury seems to get more serious. And, if he continues to play through more serious injuries how effective will he be? The Steelers are nothing without Big Ben. As for the Bengals like a few previous posts mentioned, they have a lot of FA's to deal with. They'll keep some, but definitely let some go. They will still have a talented roster b/c they can draft well, but they still don't have a big game QB. One good draft, get our guys back healthy and we're in the mix for the division title, no cause for concern.

Monachino is a good coach, but he's an unproven commodity being given a chance as a first time DC. He also has the luxury of a fantastic DC in his own right in Pagano. If they get the talent in there, he's in a favourable position. Do I feel like we got poached, or made a mistake not giving him our DC job? Not really. I mean look at the talent he had as a position coach; Ray/Suggs/Kruger/Ellerbe/D.Smith/Dumervil/Mosley/Upshaw/McPhee .. talk about standing on 3rd base and being told to run home, that's a ton of talent for a LB coach.

I believe this position switch is huge for Webb, and the Ravens defense as a unit. It's hard to find true playmakers at FS who can lead a defense, Webb can do that and he learned from the best. Now he has the entire offseason to focus on that, as well as gain some weight (I'd assume thats the plan). For those who think Webb is too small, I'd like to point out a comparison. Earl Thomas is 5'10 202 meanwhile Webb is 5'10 182 ... If Webb can add even 10 pounds this offseason he'll be fine, and I think that will help with his durability over the season. Now for the Ravens defensive unit this is big. Now we can have a true FS ball hawk, while having what I believe is a Pro Bowl SS in Will Hill. That will solidify the secondary, not to mention if we bring in someone on the defensive side w/ the #6 pick.

Laquon Treadwell - Wow do I see potential. Size, speed and strength. Will he be a #1 WR in this league? I don't see anything stopping that. Pair him w/ Perriman for years to come and we have some weapons (not to mention a year of Smitty mentoring them). VH3 - All I see is a shutdown corner with the ability to compete w/ the top WR's in the league, especially within our division with the likes of AJ Green and Antonio Brown (anyone have an update on Josh Gordon?). Both of these players may slip to us at #6 and it's a tough decision to make. Personally, I may lean towards Treadwell b/c I don't like the WR depth in this draft, and hopefully we can find someone opposite Jimmy later or in FA.

Webb making the switch to FS is going to be huge for us, imo. Sure he struggled a bit since he started the switch but thats a big transition at the end of a season. Now he has time to get his mind right because he's committed to it, and has time to physically prepare for it (i.e. gaining some weight).

On 'Late for Work' yesterday they linked to a fans design for new uniforms: "https://twitter.com/KayoBlock/status/679071624365137921/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" I think these are really solid uniforms, they have a new age look but still maintain a pretty classic design. I'd love to know if our owners caught a glimpse of these, or if anyone else even likes them. The one idea I do like going forward is incorporating some more gold in our uniforms.

Not a fan of the look at all, but it does make me happy to see that they're interested in alternate uniforms. If a design team was put together to give us a new alternate, there would be some pretty cool things they could do.

Hope this is a wake up call to some of the Flacco haters and what not. Being in this QB carousel is brutal, signing other teams castoffs and veteran QB's hoping for the best is terrible. I like having a consistent guy in Flacco to depend on ...

We're a replacement team right now, did we expect anything else? This doesn't change the outlook of next year ...

In hindsight he would've been great here, such a leader and baller. However I don't think any executive in the league thought he had so much game left in him, Woodson is killing it this year.

Watching Charles Woodson still ball out and make plays makes me wish we could have had Reed for a few more years ...

If your saying that Baltimore won't be a desirable spot to come to as a FA I couldn't disagree more. Yeah we've had a bad season but players around the league talk to each other, they know what a solid organization this is to play for.

It's frustrating when you make a great trade for a guy who was an ironman in Jacksonville, and he's become so injury prone here. Fact is though b/c of his contract he'll be on this team next year and hopefully he gets over it. However, we need to find quality depth at LT for insurance.

At 6'1 200 lbs Ramsey would certainly have the size to play Safety so maybe thats where he slots in, maybe it pushes him down in the draft? But yes, my guy is VH3 ... we know he's a superior CB and a day 1 starter. I'd love to get Bell or Thompson later on, we still have T Brooks as well. Develop 1 of those rookies and bring in a veteran FS like say, Chris Clemons from AZ ... I'd be comfortable at FS without Ramsey, but confident knowing we have Smith and VH3 at CB.
