Good, solid pick for us. It's hard to argue against taking a OT in the top 10, b/c that is a position that is harder to find later in the draft. Sure it wasn't flashy, exciting ... I was and still am a bit bored by it, but in the end when our O-Line is solidified it will be a good pick.
We keep Monroe for the foreseeable, no use in cutting him and there is no market for a trade at this point. Then we line up with our best 5 on the field, whatever combination that might be. Can Wagner move to LG and be successful, I don't see why not.
LT Monroe / LG Wagner / C Zuttah / RG Yanda / RT Stanley ... that sounds like a good unit to me.
