I like Shipley. Not a big fan of Grubbs but Sitton is a beast. Before anyone jumps on me it's documented I wasn't Grubbs' biggest fan while he was a Raven.
Anyway I think Shipley will do well with those guards beside him. Are you going for a ZBS or power?
Power most likely, especially with McFadden as my RB. Mostly, my focus is just keeping Peyton untouched though.
Good to see you have returned. Keep in mind if you are busy just leave your pick with someone. There are many of us willing to post picks for each other, then we don't have to all wait around for a full day for you. Thanks.
FYI I like the Robinson pick, gabes analysis of him was pretty much spot on. Shipley I would question weather he can be a reliable starter. He seems like more of a strong backup to me.
Yeah that was my fault, I was away all weekend and anticipated internet access, which unfortunately was not the case.
Shipley is a very underrated player. He's a significantly better center than Samson Satele, who is grossly overpaid and overrated. While Shipley has plenty of room to grow, he's definitely on the right track. Plus on my o-line, being sandwiched in between Josh Sitton and Ben Grubbs will definitely be to Shipley's benefit as well.
Sorry for the hold up fellas, it's been an awfully busy weekend.
Nevertheless, I think my pick was golden. Smells like a winner to me.

i second this! or triple it? lol...
Haha i see what you did there. Talk about leading a triple life.
Has anyone seen "The Fountain".....thoughts on it?
It's pretty trippy.
Side Effects was a decent movie with a great twist.
I'd say more than decent. I liked it a lot, although It probably won't be as good the second time around if I choose to give it a second viewing. But talk about taking the way you feel about a character for a rollercoaster ride. And Rooney Mara is quite the actress, I liked her in Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and I liked her in Side Effects. Fun fact: Mara's mother's family founded the Steelers and her father's family founded the Giants.
I thought he was gone?
Unless ctrl-F is failing me, he was still available.
Welcome back to the 4-3, Dan Connor.
sorted now, told i like him already lol
Haha thank you kind sir.
I liked the Allen pick. I had him on my list of top WR left. He wasn't at the top because I'm looking for a different type of WR but I love Allen. Broyles was also on my top WR list.
Do you want to leave your pick with anyone or will you be around for when berad picks?
I remember you loved Allen from the other mock. He fit my need for a possession WR across from Harvin perfectly.
I should be around most of the afternoon, hopefully these next few picks roll right along.
Lol nice one
I like Allen a lot
Me too, but apparently someone doesn't.
Hate for my Allen pick? Or was someone trying to neg the Honey Badger and missed?
I probably over drafted Hopkins a bit but he was always my favorite in this draft. I like Allen quite a bit as well and there is alot of opportunity for playing time in San Diego.
If nflfan picks sink I can make my own selections.
I agree, Hopkins has a lot of potential, I'm not knocking your selection at all. Hopkins was a good pick.
My point is leading up to the draft, there were quite a few of us who were higher on Allen than on Hopkins. It was only after Allen fell to the 3rd round that some of us began to I suppose think less of him. I still think both Allen and Hopkins will be very good NFL WRs.
That Allen pick could be a true steal.
Its funny, had we done this mock prior to the real life 2013 draft, there are quite a few of us who would've chosen Allen over DeAndre Hopkins, who went at the beginning of round 11 in this mock. Yet, because Allen fell to third round in real life, I think it caused a lot of us to either forget about him or just be wary of selecting him.
But I think Allen will be a very good WR for the Chargers. Injury concerns aside, he'll develop into a very nice intermediate/over-the-middle weapon for Phillip Rivers.
I like the pick. Allen is a nice compliment to harvin.
Thanks.
My pick is in. I know he would've gone a lot higher had it not been for the injury concerns that sunk his draft stock. I love his sure hands and toughness. When combined with the speed and playmaking ability of Percy Harvin, not to mention catching passes from Peyton, Allen should thrive.
Dang, Mikell and Wilson off the board in back to back picks. I was looking at either one of them with one of my next picks.
Hmmm Sherrod is kind of a head scratcher to me I would be interested to hear what free agent saw in him?
With few quality tackles left, i honestly just like his youth and potential. He has been plagued by injury since he was drafted, but when he has been on the field he has shown some bright spots. Plus hes versatile enough to play either right or left tackle.
Well should be interesting, he was showing some real potential before he got hurt last year.
Yeah he was, he really came on towards the end of last year. Plus placing him inside utilizes his greatest strength, his run stopping ability.
I like the pick, though I think Jenkins is a better fit at 3-4 DE.
He plays 3-4 DE for the Redskins, but he is versatile enough to play 4-3 DT as a run stuffer.
My pick is in. Had to take a DT after putting it off for a while, so I chose a young guy who showed lots of potential in the second half of last season as a run stuffer.
Sorry guys, didn't think I'd be back on the clock so soon. Anyways, the pick is in.
I like him a lot but his hands are a concern. His routes also need some work.
Drops were a problem for him last year for sure, but they haven't been nearly as much of a problem in years past. I like to think its an issue that can be fixed.
Not sure how I feel about him as a move TE but I love his blocking. Great blocker. He's like Leach if he played FB.
I intend to line him up all over the field. He can play as a second TE, he can play in the slot, he can play H-back, or FB for the power running game for McFadden. His versatility is unique.

Haha that's true. I'd probably be better off with Peyton as my RB if I went with a ZBS anyway.
