Lions pick is in. Truth scared me when I saw he went with a wide receiver, but luckily for me he went with T.J. Jones. Huff was overshadowed by Mariota and other Oregon stars the last few seasons, but was very productive for the Ducks. I think he'll develop into a good NFL slot receiver.
With the 107th pick in the 2014 Forum Draft, the Detroit Lions select...

Josh Huff, WR, Oregon
Love Turner, he absolutely dominated most of the teams he faced. His tape against Coastal Carolina is borderline hilarious, he regularly blew defensive lineman five yards back off the ball in that game.
Yeah, one inch and five pounds bigger. Lol
Compare the two with the eyeball test, Zuttah is clearly the larger man. He has longer arms, a wider frame; the listed height and weight isn't the point.
6'4 and 308 lbs.
Ozzie wanted to get bigger up front, and that's exactly what he did.
Considered him when I took Desir, he was guy number 3. No surprise he went a few later.
Good pick from co too.
I was going to pick Desir if Jean-Baptiste had been taken, so thanks for leaving him.
With the 76th pick in the 2014 Forum Mock Draft, the Detroit Lions select...

Stanley Jean-Baptiste, CB, Nebraska
Free Agent pulling some thievery.
He had them buried deep in his depth chart, so naturally I had to inquire.
Official Trade:
Lions give: TE Lance Kendricks (1.5 Stars)
Patriots give: 6th (190), CB Logan Ryan (0.5 Stars), DT Joe Vellano (0.5 Stars)
3 years ago, I drafted Russell WIlson in the 6th Round to be a back-up for Tom Brady.
Guess who else was a sixth round pick? You'll never guess.
Sorry guys, busy day. My pick is in.
With the 45th pick in the 2014 Forum Draft, the Detroit Lions select...

Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State
May have been a bit of a reach to some, but with the way WRs have been flying off the board, I had to take him. He'll fit in nicely working the underneath stuff under Megatron.
With the 35th pick in the 2014 Forum Mock Draft, the Detroit Lions select...

Jarvis Landry, WR, LSU
Shazier can play as a every 3rd down Linebacker in a 4-3 or an edge rusher in a 3-4. I will be shifting him with Ingram and have him play some snaps at ILB.
Per Rotoworld
" Ohio State LB Ryan Shazier's health regimen includes taking a picture of everything he eats and sending it to his performance trainer.
That's devotion. It's clearly working, as Shazier has transformed his body into a 6-foot-2, 230-pound machine that can somehow transport itself forty yards in 4.36 seconds (his unofficial time at Ohio State's Pro Day)."
In a 4-3, yes. He doesn't have the size to hold up as an edge rusher in a 3-4.
And Shazier would've been my pick. Dang.
Might take some of the unfair heat off Oher. ;-)
Imagine if we signed him and resigned Oher...we'd never get a play off...
And that reason is?
He did draw 11 penalties last year. That's a little ridiculous.
Pryor can lay the wood. I'm a little conscious about the potential penalties, but he makes the defense tougher, and also has solid range in coverage.
Agreed. He fits in very nicely across from Glover Quin. The combination of the two can do anything asked of them, zone coverage, man coverage, playing in the box, pretty much anything you'd need a safety to do.
To make up for holding things up last time, this pick is already in haha.
The Steelers are up.
With the 14th pick in the 2014 Forum Mock Draft, the Detroit Lions select:

Calvin Pryor, FS, Louisville
