  1. I wouldn't at all be opposed to Chudzinski. I wouldn't mind Whisenhunt either. While there isn't that one uber-appealing option out there right now, several of the current options would be an upgrade over Caldwell's boring, unimaginative offense.
  2. Not surprising, the first one was overflowing with gold. I'll be happy if the sequel is just plain good, let alone near as good as the first.
  3. That's how I've felt about him: as a receiver, he isn't a consistent, every-down, move the chains kind of receiver. But he's playmaker. He makes the plays when they need to be made, both as a returner and as a receiver. Very clutch player indeed.
  4. I see your point, but Spaced wouldn't have gone bad in its third series, or for quite a few seasons to come. The characters were really starting to hit their strides. But oh well.
  5. Just finished the Simon Pegg show Spaced. It's such a shame they only made two seasons.
  6. He's actually 5th on the team behind Torrey, Rice, Dallas Clark, and Marlon.
  7. I really hope we can bring him back on the cheap, if only as a specialist. I don't think his production as a receiver merits a big time deal, from us or from anyone. His real value is returning kicks, as we saw today.
  8. After being on season 3 episode 1 of Breaking Bad when the series finale actually aired, I got caught up and finished the show the other night. What a stellar show.
  9. Mika - Love Today
  10. And sound. The Dolby Atmos surround sound integration is stunning.
  11. PG-13 movies make their money through moments-that-make-you-jump/surprises. R-rated horror movies can obviously do whatever. But yeah, good PG-13 horror movies are hard to find, except for the diamonds in the rough like Insidious and The Ring.
  12. Poor, poor Johnny Depp. Disney was far more concerned with collecting some cheap, easy laughs through The Lone Ranger than they were with crafting a quality movie. Depp had very little to work with as Tonto, besides the few cheap jokes. What a letdown, Disney.
  13. Despite my low expectations, and the fact that I put off watching it due to these expectations, I found Warm Bodies to be a very likable film. It was a nice twist on the typical zombie movie.
  14. Just watched that today, matter of fact. Most of those action sequences are freaking awesome indeed.
  15. I know I'm late to the party, but I thought I'd give my feelings on Affleck as Batman. I'm certainly disappointed, if only because I wanted so badly for Bale to return as Batman. Nevertheless, the casting makes sense. If we were to see lots of Affleck as Bruce Wayne, I'd be seriously questioning the casting. But in this context, we are sure to see plenty more of Batman than we are Bruce Wayne, so Affleck just may be able to pull it off.
  16. Sorry man, and thanks.
  17. My pick is in. My team is now complete.
  18. In the above scenario, would anyone be watching the movie for her acting ability? Nevertheless, good point.
  19. This would make me very happy.
  20. Just to let everyone know, I will be away without internet access all of next week. I left my upcoming pick with ravensdan. If I'm not back before the end of the next round, you have my permission to just skip my picks right off until I get back, so I don't hold things up.
  21. That movie was one of the strangest indie movies I have ever seen. It was all about the loud, raucous fun of spring break, but the chill indie feel just made for a strange vibe. Besides James Franco's brilliant performance, i wasn't a fan. I couldn't tell if it was simply an over-the-top sarcastic take on the revelry that is spring break, or if the movie actually took itself seriously. But Franco was brilliant. If this movie leads to more roles like this for him, then its a success.
  22. Makes good sense to me. Grubbs finesse style may make him a bit of a liability in my power blocking scheme, but I'm sure Peyton will appreciate his abilities.
  23. He's not an aggressive player, he's a finesse player. I can understand why you don't like his style. I take it you like aggressive guards, like Yanda?
  24. Haha that's true. I'd probably be better off with Peyton as my RB if I went with a ZBS anyway.
  25. Power most likely, especially with McFadden as my RB. Mostly, my focus is just keeping Peyton untouched though.
