  1. He just overthrew it. Wow.
  2. What a play by Irving.
  3. That was an awful spot
  4. Unbelievable start to this game.
  5. Ah I gotcha, and yeah that would've been pretty funky haha.
  6. That's basically just the I-formation.
  7. I love what Kubiak's now former players have to say about him. All good stuff. http://espn.go.com/blog/afcsouth/post/_/id/39969/delving-into-kubiak-as-an-offensive-mind
  8. Exactly. It's more about Kubiak and Dennison being able to continue to work together.
  9. John McClain gave his thoughts on choosing between Rick Dennison and Kyle Shanahan as OC. Now let's add Kubiak and make it a trio. You got Kubiak calling plays, Dennison helping out with the RBs and/or o-line, and Shanahan helping get the most out of Joe... If this happens, I'll be thrilled.
  10. According to the always-reliable Wikipedia, Kyle already has the job. I wouldn't read anything into this, just thought it was funny.
  11. I pray to God that Kyle is chosen.
  12. The Browns just did it with Pettine.
  13. So if it's down to Kyle and Kirby, I'm taking Kyle. Yes, Kirby is a good motivator, but that's why we have Harbs. I'd rather have Kyle's creative mind.
  14. John Beck was seriously considered a potential starter at one point. If that doesn't prove your point, I don't know what does.
  15. Plus Norv worked wonders with Antonio Gates and Jordan Cameron, which would work perfectly for us, since Dennis Pitta is a focal point of the offense. Not to mention he led the Browns to the 11th ranked passing attack in the NFL, with Brian Hoyer, Jason Campbell and Brandon Weeden at QB...he would be a great addition.
  16. The more I think about it, the more I think Norv would be a perfect fit.
  17. Also, finally got around to seeing Gravity. I agree with all the other assessments on the movie previously posted in this thread. The visuals and sound were stunning. Loved that aspect of the movie, especially since I'm a sucker for a pretty movie. That said, the plot held the movie down. While I appreciated the ironic serenity that certain parts of the movie conveyed, those same parts of the movie tended to drag on. It just felt very slow paced, although perhaps rightfully so. Neither Clooney nor Bullock were particularly special in the movie. In fact if anything, Bullock's character was pretty annoying. But it was worth seeing for the visuals and sound alone. On a side note, me and the friends I watched it with were waiting for the pen constantly lurking in the background when Bullock was in the Russian space module to play a significant role... which it didn't. Talk about a letdown.
  18. Just took in The Machinist tonight. Definitely a slower paced movie, but yet another brilliant, almost-method-actor performance from Christian Bale. Without him, the movie would've been significantly worse, his performance made the movie.
  19. Watched Ghost World today. It was good movie, and a good example of an indie movie before they were cool. Thora Birch was really good, she played that kind of character so well until she fell off the face of the earth. And it was pretty neat seeing a young Scarlett Johansson.
  20. That's a bold opinion. Lee's combination of excellent route running, good hands, and after the catch playmaking ability is special. Adams and Matthews are good receivers in their own ways, but I wouldn't put them anywhere near Lee.
  21. You prefer Jordan Matthews and Davante Adams over Marqise Lee?
  22. Personally, I just want a guy who can get some separation and then make the catch. A guy who can be counted on for the ten yard, chain-moving catch. That's what I want.
  23. By that logic, maybe you take a guy like Mike Evans in the first, and then add a Jarvis Landry or a Rashad Greene type in the later rounds. Not that I would do that, but it seems like an option if you're up for double dipping at WR.
  24. American Hustle was really good. Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, and Jennifer Lawrence were great. My main man Christian Bale was excellent, as always. He's as close to being a method actor as one can get without actually being one. The guy loses and puts on weight like nobody's business.
