Does anyone here still feel he deserves another chance or two or three??
Will not live long enough for such a worthy accomplishment ![]()
Just hope this is not a nagging injury that will stay with him throughout his career.
Makes you kinda glad the Colts left Baltimore. Silver linings.
I am sure daddy Bob is "somewhere" watching smiling and proud!!
Let's get this season going...Spring training is dragging on and on.
I really strongly feel like this team is good enough to steal the division this year.
It may come down to Tampa Bay and the Orioles....The Red Sox may not be as good as last year along with a WS hangover and IMO the Yankees are just not that good and Toronto.....Well
I love the passion, but it's a travesty that we only have 3 WS wins for as good as we were.
The O's won in 66,70 & 83 which I do not believe they were favored to win and lost in 69,71&79 in which they were favored....IMO there should be at least four or five championships for this franchise.
If the pitching staff can cut way back on giving up the long balls and stay around the middle of the pack in runs allowed along with repeat success on offense and defense this will be a playoff team come October.
Can you even bandwagon on the Orioles?
They hooked me again like a Bass and again I probably will be disappointed come August once more.
The majority of TNF games have been horrible as far as matchups go...Those JAX vs TB games do not do it for me. The only game I watched last year was the Denver Ravens game. Keep Thursday games for Turkey Day only. The Sunday and Monday night games are good enough for me personally.
I just hope he passes the physical for now.
Sadly for us as fans the Orioles FO probably feels satisfied with their player acquisitions for 2014.
Just gonna throw it in here... Derek Jeter announced he will retire after the 2014 season.
Great...Another Yankee retirement tour...Start shedding the tears.
Just posting this because the Orioles did absolutely nothing today. This is probably a good thing, sad!
"Moneyball" Angelos style.
Looks like the O's are going south " AS IS "
Any hatred towards Sherman is well deserved.
Lynch on the other hand...he doesn't want to talk to the media, that's not his thing, I don't know why anyone would have a problem with it? We're all different, and frankly, if I was a NFL player, I would probably hate the media as well. They take any little thing you say and try to twist it into some big story when it's really not. They did it last year to us, and they'll probably do it again this year. I commend Lynch for basically giving a middle finger to the NFL and the media and saying "I'm not going to play your media game."
As far as Lynch goes I can see his point in a way considering the stupid questions some of those Journalists throw at him.
Even though I am not a Manning fan it is becoming more difficult for me to keep pulling for Seattle because of the antics of Lynch and Sherman.
I personally don't think Weiters is a key contract or a player we MUST retain. I'd trade him RIGHT NOW if possible. Unless he blows up and actually becomes a hitter this year, we can duplicate his plate production.
There is another catcher in the system similar to Wieters who is getting a lot of looks....I think his name is Michael Ohlman..
Honestly what does he really do with all that money? I mean c'mon!
For guys like him....Enough is never enough.

See who wants to hang Kubiak when ( if ) we loose a game.
Or praise him if they go deep into the playoffs.
What is your definition of 'dynamic'? The Texans ranked in the top five on offense three times and in the top half on offense seven times. That's not even counting that Kubiak's offense never finished below top seven when he was in Denver. That's more success than we have ever had on offense and definitely better than what we had this past season.
Not to mention that he was the OC on their back to back championship teams....I am all for this....Harbaugh's buddy system has worn out it's welcome and no they will not become the Cowboys....Comparing Jerry Jones and Steve Bisciotti is like comparing lemons to cherries.
Of course the Yankees land Tanaka, if only our owner would spend some money! I hate that we are in the division with all the big spending owners. It makes it so hard to compete when your constantly playing teams that buy all the greatest players from anywhere in the world.
We can only hope that he will be a bust....24-0 last year in Japan is one thing but he has not thrown one pitch in MLB and a lot of the parks here are smaller.
I like your idea but where would the ball be placed for 2-point conversions?
I would say at the five to seven yard line.
The script will be complete in two weeks....Peyton wins the Super Bowl with MVP honors...Rides into the sunset on the white horse and retires in Omaha!
