  1. I agree that he's better than Kap, but he does have 6 INTs and 3 fumbles this year, and some of his turnovers have come at very crucial moments, nearly costing them games against Detroit and Dallas. I still thinks it's absurd to compare him to Flacco in any way, including derth of weapons.

I think it's ironic that Kapernick basically has Joe's weapons and hasn't been able to do a thing with them.   Torrey Smith is having a laughable year so far (16 receptions, 342 yards, 2 TD's), and so is Anquan Boldin (31 receptions, 372 yards, 2 TD).   And for all the talk that Joe misses wide open receivers, Kapernick missed Torrey Smith jumping up and down before the snap because no one was covering him and STILL stuck with the 1 yard run.

Maybe if Flacco still had both those guys and THEN brought in Smith or had Aiken as the #3 we'd be in much better shape.   Boldin wouldn't have dropped the TD pass in Denver, that is for sure.

  2. First off, you mentioned playoffs. Secondly, its been proven that Flacco locks in on Sr and others can in fact get open. Flacco just loves himself some Sr.

If only they caught the ball when he threw it to them, maybe he wouldn't lock onto the only reliable weapon he had.   Don't worry though, now you get your wish.  Kamar Aiken/Marlon Brown it is!   The dynamic duo!   Tha gamechangers finally get their chance to shine!

  3. Reading some of these "we should have lost so we can improve our draft position" posts really make me wonder sometimes.   Really disappointing for a team's fans to act.

The Good:  Nice to see Kamar Aiken step up today.   I'm not sold on him until after a couple more games, but it doesn't matter at this point.   He is the #1 receiver on the team.   We have no choice now.    Also nice to see the offensive line for the most part give Flacco time to throw.   Notice he was stepping into throws today?  The line gave him time.  Crazy what happens when the team around a QB also begins to play, the QB benefits from it.

The Bad:  Other than the 70 yarder to Floyd late in the game, the defense did the best it could and didn't break this time so I can't seem much bad there.   However, Marlon Brown continues to prove why he wouldn't make 31 other teams.   And the refs are just so horrible they really are making the game difficult to watch.   Unnecessary roughness for tacking now?   Seriously?

The Real Sad:   Thank you Steve Smith Sr.   This isn't the way you wanted to go out I'm sure.   And it's probably the one loss the Ravens simply will not be able to overcome.   I have enjoyed watching you play.     Oh, and I'll put the refs in here too, just because.
