4 picks out of the top 78, can't be mad about that.
Rd 1: 16th pick
Rd: 2: 15th pick
Rd: 3: 10th(eagles trade) and 14th pick

Trying to make patriot like deals yet we aren't really getting squat.
I'm on the fence on this.
Let him stay and have a good year and cash out during FA and probably get a 3rd round comp for him in 2019.
OR
trying to capitalize this year b/c they have some players they really like that will be available early in the 3rd.

that's what I'm thinking. Gives them the leverage to trade up in the 2nd.

swapping picks, we go from pick 99 to 74.
swap picks from 99 to 74.
IMO, I like Boyle's play over Maxx. If he can stay away from the pills, I think he can be on par w/ Heap and Pitta.

We have perriman, maxx, Davis, ZDS, correa, kaufusi, Judon, young, Lewis, Dixon, Henry, pierce, Wesley, nembot, Moore, all guys who really decide the fate of the franchise.
My personal choice for the breakout star player, maybe not a huge impact guy right away but by the end of the year he could be well on his way to being a household name, is Matt Judon. He showed some wisdom beyond his years on the field, he's an NFL ready body, got some NFL ready technique, and his only shortcoming is burst and stamina, 2 things that can be improved through the same means. Let Judon do some more NFL conditioning and he could gain a step and keep that motor going for 4 quarters and he will be a beast. He's a 3 down OLB and he's getting his shot now with doom being gone.
Who is your breakout guy for this year?
Basically will be his rookie year, so I'm not expecting much from him.
Considering we're pretty stacked w/ veteran talent on defense, I'm hoping a young gunner has a breakout year on offense.
Perriman, Maxx, and IF he can stay healthy Campanaro all could provide the Off with a nice boost.
Of all those former Ravens still available, I wouldn't mind seeing Josh Bynes back for ILB depth.
With Yanda out until training camp, the coaches will be able to evaluate talent/play at the LG, C, RG, and RT positions during OTAs and minicamp.
I think Peanut will be a breakout player like Orr was.
Personally, I thought KC's problem was learning the defensive schemes and that's what kept him off the field. He has all of the physical attributes but if the problem is above his shoulders he'll never see the field.

We probably don't make it to the Superbowl w/out Pollard's play vs the Pats. He truly was a "Patriot Killer"

Every team has a different environment and personality, so every free agent doesn't flourish with a new team. Look at when we signed S Michael Huff. He didn't make it through the season if I remember correctly. It was a rare mistake and I think he admitted it was very difficult for him in B-more. Every team makes the same mistakes with FAs.
Ummm...a majority of the LFW articles are reposts from other writers. They never denied this fact. Its been like that for years.
A few posts on Twitter that the Ravens are in talks to trade him.
DBs: J. Smith, B. Carr, T Young (slot)
Safety: Weddle, Jefferson
On paper that's a top tier secondary.
3 hours ago, Orange_Peanut said:Carr is a great signing! Only gets a bad rep b/c of the Odell catch
NO ONE and I mean NO ONE could have defended that. If that's the ONLY reason he has a bad rep, I'll take that all day every day.

Ha...a lot of other forum members said it before me in the other post.
Wish Leslie Frazier was still around to coach the new DB additions.
3 minutes ago, PeterA88 said:Not sure how I feel about this. Young can play better.
You can never have too many quality DBs.
Side note: He's never missed a game in his career. That's crazy.
Two things here:
- If Zuttah was THAT bad, how/why does he go to the Probowl (even as an alternate)?
- All offseason we heard strengthening the O-line was paramount. Now we're down 2 starters. How Sway?

Missed my point. There was a platform for Ravens news and fan interaction prior to joining/finding this forum. There will be one after they close. I use Ed's duration in the this group b/c other forums/ social media platforms were available back when he joined in 2015. I could see if he joined 10 years ago, there wasn't much to choose from then.
Ed, like you, I will be disappointed when the forums close, but let it go dude. I noticed you joined in June 2015, not even 2 years ago. You were fine before you joined the forums, I'm sure you'll cope after they shut them down.

I know people like using him as a scapegoat because those are fun but if its up to the players to decide how to cover then you cant really put it on him.
I've said this quite a few times. Pees allows the DB's to make their own decision on how to cover. Sometimes good, sometimes bad!

Name a player they've recently traded that was a "ProBowler-typish player" after the trade.
