  1. That is a bit of a shame. I understand where you're coming from, but as another already stated, they perhaps knew they couldn't afford him and just gave up. I think we feel very comfortable with our depth on the DL. I think that's why we let him go. I'll miss Jones a ton. I loved that guy from day 1.

I get were you both are coming from, but at least put an offer on the table to see if he'll take a hometown discount. What harm could that have done? I would have cut Cody in a NYC minute to free up space to keep him if that would have helped.

  2. Cut jacoby, leach, david reed, terrence cody and all the recievers who have less then 15 catches this season and then you have more then enough to overpay ellerbe, and keep q and resign Ed reed .and i almost forgot draft five more wr's to sit on ir or the bench for 3 to 5 years taking up cap space and not contributing.

No sir! He did make the pro bowl and he's a ST's coach's worst nightmare.

  3. Get out of here with that completely false and misinformed crap. Flacco's cap hit this season is under $7 mil. In fact it is a split hair above his cap hit last season. This is Boldin's last year under contract, so Flacco's deal does not affect this decision in the least. If you want someone to blame, go talk to Ellerbe who is asking more than a guy who has had one good season is worth and pushing the Ravens' backs against the wall because it's a position where we have no depth.

In all fairness he never said anything about Flacco's cap hit or contract. He just said pay him $2M from out of his pocket.

  4. When Flacco got his contract, all I kept hearing was, "If Flacco wouldn't have won the Super Bowl, there is no way he would get $120 million. He doesn't deserve it. He is too inconsistent."

Truth is, if we wouldn't have had such a great playoff run, Boldin would have had a huge target on his back. If we are talking about inconsistent, it is Boldin. The majority of teams put their number one cb on Torrey most of the time. So we are paying a guy 6 million to face number 2 corners and still put up inconsistent numbers?

It just doesn't make sense to think we are dependent on Boldin. We have so many weapons. This is who I put above Boldin in importance:

    1. Ray Rice

    2. Torrey Smith

    3. Dennis Pitta

    4. Boldin.

Boldin brings a lot to the table. But we have more important players than Boldin.

There's no way in h3ll that Smith and Pitta are more important in the offense than Q!! If that was the case,

why does Joe go to Boldin almost every time when they need a clutch play. Rewind to the Chargers game when it

was 4th and 29 who sprung the final block to allow Rice to get the 1st down, it was Q! Heck, Smith said himself during that play he was standing there watching.

Smith is basically a down field threat. Q, can and has done both this season.

Why you would even think Pitta was more important than Q is beyond words.

Sorry, but we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

  5. So Immortals and Jack and Jill got bad reviews, so I guess it's J. Edgar this weekend! How can you go wrong with Leonardo, Clint Eastwood and my love Naomi Watts? You can't.

See it for yourself and be your own critic. Don't let someone else's opinion/review stop you from seeing a movie you wanted to see.
