I'm not a believer in the Harbaugh doghouse theory. Especially over some showboating after a TD during a preseason game. I find it hard to believe that Harbaugh is going to bench a talented player who's gonna help his team more on the field than on the bench b/c he's in his "doghouse".
Great article on a young man, who never quit. Last year was his final year to make a NFL roster since he didn't have anymore practice squad eligibility left. I personally hope he makes it and becomes a successful WR in the NFL.
...and he catches everything. The only dropped pass by him that I can remember was the TD pass vs Cinci in Game 1. I really don't understand the folks saying he's on the bubble to make the team. I seriously question whether or not they payed attention to what he did last year. If he has a camp similar or better than last season, there's no way he gets cut.
Ozzie and staff have stated on numerous occassions, they will not pay a player for what he did in the past but what their potential is for the future. With that being said, at 31 Yanda's best years are probably beyond him and does Ozzie break his rule and pay Yanda top money?
It was reported awhile ago that Pitta made a full recovery and cleared to practice. He will be an active participant during this week's OTAs. Here's an update from 2 weeks ago. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Dennis-Pitta-Optimistic-About-Playing-This-Year/55b7f6b6-0db0-4e14-8181-79ad4099c19b
NO! OTA's are not mandatory. Many vets choose to skip them. Knowing that he needs to get in the mix I understand and respect why Pitta is participating at OTAs. OAN: If I'm not mistaken, Pitta gets paid whether he; plays, gets cut, or retires.
If a 10 or 15 year penalty is called during the PAT attempt, Im hoping the rules don't allow them to say never mind we're going to do a 2pt attempt instead.
Pollard was the so called "leader" of the "mutiny" his last year here. You might not ever hear the coach or front office say it, but Pollard will never play here again.

What you rarely see now is the defense going all out to block an extra point attempt UNLESS it's late in the game and the extra pt ties or give the other team the lead. However, with the extra point attempt being moved back, I can see more teams making a real effort to block the PAT. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they try the longer PATs in pre-season last year?
