Blocking TE who can barely catch and runs like a lineman. A small school RB. An extra NT when we have what 3 already? I like 3 picks Mosley, Jernigan, and Brooks. The rest need to prove themselves to us. Why not McCarron? I never fully understand what goes on behind the scenes, but then again I don't pay the bills for cut fodder either.
A mike foxtrot QB???? What the heck? Oz???? Clipboard holding cut candidate.
Dre Hall isn't bad either.
Drum roll....
Ray can teach him how to handle his woman! ![]()
Brandon Coleman no.1 on mels big board has been for little while.. Get this 6'6 225 WR
KC didn't take Coleman!!!
If we dont then see ya!!
For today!!!
Literally the smartest guy in the draft.
Nice stats for a guard: 4.0, Masters in Math, looking for a PHD. Team captain at Penn State, too. He'll never crack the starting rotation but it's a move in the right direction. I agree draft Coleman from Rutgers.
Agree to Disagree. The point is that all of us wants our team to succeed. We want to be champions even though we all have different ideas of getting there. The fact is no one champion does it the same, but are still champions at the end of the day.
When your criterion is a winning season even 8 and 8 isn't acceptable, too.
Love the urban pick 3-4 DE with a lot of upside , length , disruptive and can bat balls . But we already have brandon Williams , Karpon lewis Moore and deangelo Tyson ! Youngsters with upside , now we have Jernigan and urban on top of that plus to solid vets in canty and ngata . So can we keep them all ? Because We're simply wasting talent if we let go of our youngsters with potential by kicking them out for two new ones . However if we can somehow keep Jernigan , urban , Brandon's Williams , deangleo Tyson and Karpon lewis Moore along with ngata and canty ( who could be cut ) then watch out offenses because the youth and talent on that d line is unbelievable plus being able to rotate a lot of guys . So hopefully were stacking on talent along with our already youngsters in brandon Williams , Karpon lewis and Tyson and hopefully were not wasting talent by letting go any of these guys .
The pick would have made better since in the 5th or 6th round. We may have had a better TE, too. I am happy with Mosley, Jerrigan, and Brooks. Less than happy with the rest. It all balances out though. Urban has a lot of competition and we still need help at OL and WR.
John Harbaugh was just on NFL Network live talking about the draft. Even he said there are "fights", disagreements etc among the FO, coaches and scouts and if it is ok for them to disagree and agree, then it is ok for Ravens fans to disagree and agree. I am not gonna wait till the 175th pick as my body agrees to take a nap after 3 days of research, debating and following the draft non stop. It was fun though and sometimes some pretty funny comments loosens up the day. Thanks all for the fun. Looking forward to training camp.
Take a nap, rook. We'll keep watch while you sleep. Never quit, never surrender.
The Ravens board was stacked heavily with offensive players, but the defensive players fell to them.
Spin it for us, bro.
Ozze is past his prime at this...
Old geezer from 'bama!
Am I selfish because I wanted us to draft McCarron so that we can see his old lady on the jumbotron???
The only 2 positions of need that we haven't addressed are WR and OL. There is always UDFA, too.
Actually, at this point, nothing will surprise me. Watch as Baltimore draft a QB.
AJ McCarron!!!!
Offense 25th in the league!!!! WE NEED HELP!!!!
We might need to switch Terrance Cody to RB he can be the bruiser we need....
REFRIGERATOR MOUNT CODY. We could play the Fat Boyz every time he goes in at M & T too!
And there goes andre williams lol.
I had a feeling it might be the Giants especially the talk from them and seeing them eye him at the combine.
Crosses him off my wish list.
Injuries, and pathetic Oline collapse.
The loss of Boldin and Pitta (for part of the season) was greater than imagined because it left Flacco with no reliable check-down guy. Rice and Pierce both struggled with injuries and never got it going in the running game. This forced Flacco to air it out and make more mistakes than ever before in his career. Despite the injuries, the OL didn't do too badly, but it didn't play well enough to push the pile on short yardage situations and in the red zone. It's a testimony to the toughness of Flacco and the linemen who were often playing out of position. Monroe is much better than many people give him credit for and will only improve in a new blocking scheme that is similar to that which he has used his whole pro career. Yanda is my favorite linemen and deserves all the credit for playing through injuries. Now that we have an experienced center we should see the level of play elevate exponentially. I hope and pray that the big guy Osemele is fully healed and can play RT. Let's just get a few more pieces of the puzzle and find a free agent or two later on to fill in the gaps. We are the Ravens, baby. We are winners.
I sure hope Mosley starts because we passed up on both Dix-Clinton and Pryor to take him. He seems to have all the right stuff. ILB is a position that you can substitute players in and out on one side but you definitely need a defensive captain out there for 3 downs to read the plays and audibles. D. Smith is that man on the Ravens now. Mosley will be that guy in a few years but meanwhile he has the tools to start on the other side of the spread.
Maybe Antonio Richardson, Cameron Fleming and Cyril Richardson are still out there. Would be happy with any or all of them haha.
Wouldn't mind using one of our last picks on Louchiez Purifoy....special teams beast, with potential to be a pretty good corner.
OT - Fleming.; Richardson, Steen
WR - Bryant, Abbrederis
RB - Williams, Seastrunk
LB - Jones, Bradford, Smith
QB - McCarron
Let's see who gets picked before we get our turn.
remember guys , off season is not over yet, so calm down, teams will cut good players after draft.
We heard this last year and that's why we went 8 and 8.
Rice will get some sort of suspension. That leaves Pierce and what was that guy's name that we all went who? when they signed him? That RB? That is pretty much it at RB.
We signed a center who, it is being reported, is slightly better than Gino, who most raved about when he was drafted. But - didn't work out that way did it? Jensen & Wagner - though the FO might be high on them - have not proven anything. Wait - we did see Wagner didn't we? I believe most of us were of the opinion we hoped not to have to rely on him?
KO - still an unknown because he did not play well - we all just assumed his back was injured from day one but we don't know that especially since it should have been listed on the injury report and wasn't.
Kubiak - I'll give you - but you can only do so much if you're not given the players to do it with.
They drafted a project TE because he is considered a blocking TE. Not a receiving TE and his weakness is his route running and lack of separation (man doesn't that sound familiar?).
The point is: we give the defense all the high draft picks every year, they play a click above average and everyone is "oh our defense is soooooo improved!" (stats prove otherwise) but we give the offense hand me downs and scrub picks and expect them to play top 5 or at least top 10.
Boston College has a big bruising RB in the draft that we can definitely get today.
Could be. I didn't see anything about him being 6th or 7th round until that post.
