  1. OT - Fleming.; Richardson, Steen WR - Bryant, Abbrederis RB - Williams, Seastrunk LB - Jones, Bradford, Smith QB - McCarron Let's see who gets picked before we get our turn.
  2. We heard this last year and that's why we went 8 and 8.
  3. Boston College has a big bruising RB in the draft that we can definitely get today.

  5. We way overreached for this pick. I'd much rather that we just took Andre Williams from Boston College. He's the big, pile-moving back that we have been lacking.
  6. GILMORE: WEAKNESSES Underdeveloped lower body with limited overall weight-room strength. Not a nuanced route runner to create separation and lacks polish releasing off the line (pinballed too easily). Limited suddeness and burst out of his breaks. Marginal creativity after the catch. Lacks top-end speed to threaten the seam. Has been a bit of a china doll and long-term durability requires evaluation. Recorded a 1.77-second 10-yard time, tied for slowest among tight ends at the combine. DRAFT PROJECTION Rounds 6-7 BOTTOM LINE A try-hard, developmental blocker capable of catching on as a No. 3 tight end with continued improvement in the weight room. Possesses above-average base blocking ability, hands and foot speed to carve a role.
  7. Who the hell is Crocket Gillmore????
  8. I would take either Richardson or Bryant with this pick.
  9. I was saying earlier that Ozzie would go defense for the third pick. I guess we will need to get an OL, TE, WR, and RB last.
  10. Brooks??? We could have had him in the 4th round or later. I surely think we should have taken Moncrief, an OL, or someone other than Brooks with this pick.
  11. Moncrief is still there now!
  12. There's still a long time until we pick again. I think that we go defense again before we take our first offensive player.
  13. I'll bet we'll draft another defensive player in round 3.
  14. I loved the Mosley pick even thought I'm the guy screaming for offense every year. I heard Ray Lewis put in a good word for his leadership and work ethic and it sold me on him. I don't feel the same about the second round, but it all depends on who we get with our 2 picks in the third to take the bitter taste of the second out of my mouth. Failed drug test is a "red flag" to me. Too short for NT, too. So, we have how many guys at NT? I didn't know that the NT can keep your QB from getting knocked on his *** on every other play. Oh well, Ozzie is 1 for 2 in my book.
  15. We had a few options and took "Toking" Timmy instead.
  16. I would have taken Hyde or Latimer, but we had "Sticky-icky" Ricky so I guess coach can keep "Toking" Timmy off the shizznit at least until it's nationally legalized and/or recognized as legitimate pain medicine by the NFL.
  17. Only if they come with Charissa Thompson!!!!
  18. Mosley was the best value. He did lead his defense to a national championship too. That sure looks good on his resume.
  19. I'd take a WR, TE, RB, OL, and/or FS tonight. I'm not going to get too specific outside of maybe Latimer and Hyde.
  20. I'll clarify for you in slow and simple terms. I'd take Latimer and Hyde with the next two picks, then see what FS/OL is still around later on in the draft.
  21. I remember reading that Mosley was rated high by the Ravens. I was thinking Haha or Pryor but I'm not totally surprised nor disappointed by the pick. It's almost like Ozzie wants to paint a crimson stripe on the logo though. We still need help at FS, OL, RB, and WR.
  22. I was thinking Haha but we got CJ. Now we definitely need to go Latimer in the 2nd round if he is still on the board.
  23. The draft day is almost here and we all know what we want the Ravens to do. Let's just hope we get someone to move the chains so that we can make the playoffs again this year.

    1. Rants N Ravens

      Rants N Ravens

Amen, I want big-time playmakers on both sides of the ball. Give me a ball-hawking center fielder and a 3rd down YAC guy in this upcoming draft!

  24. Hey buddy, we really need to get you off the catnip and on the treadmill don't we?
  25. I really don't see any surprise in us going the bargain route at center. Zuttah is far better than last year's centers so that will definitely be an upgrade that will help to keep Flacco upright and slinging bullets. The running game will all depend upon whethere or not Rice is suspended by the league for his casino incident and if he can recover from last year's downslide. He seems to have gotten on the right track by losing weight. Pierce is an outside runner, so we still need to consider drafting a guy like Hyde or Hill (preferably 2nd round), or even West (much later in the draft). Now the line is looking like Osemele (LG), Zuttah ©, Yanda (RG), Monroe (LT), with Wagner next up to be the RT until the draft if not more moves are made before then.
