With all the injuries, the linebackers were the ones that looked the weakest in coverage. The secondary seemed to get it together over the last month of the season.

I am going to stay up to see the National Anthem at least. Hopefully, we get a top ten draft pick out of this miserable season.

One thing that stood out on the Flacco Hail Mary pass at the end of the loss to the 49ers was that Gillmore was wide open coming up the field behind the play with everyone already deep in the end zone. I know that it would have taken an incredible pass and tons of luck to complete it, but what if we didn't just heave it up for the shortest receiver on the team?

Draft another running back in 2016. Buck Allen looks good so far but depth is a good thing at a position where there is constant wear and tear. Meanwhile, I'll trust that the Ravens are looking around for that one guy who they could bring in to fill in.

I would package A. Brown and a significant draft pick for Jeffrey.

Perriman is a bust 1st round draft pick (See M. Clayton for reference).

While Perriman is far from a bust at this early stage of his career we are growing beards waiting for him to take the field and show us something to convince us that we should have taken him over a safety or pass rusher in the first round.

Z. Smith was a great draft pick who will develop into that player that we all look forward to cheering for on Sundays.

I just don't see the line pushing as hard as they did in previous years.

If the Bengals are clicking, then expect the Ravens to lose by 3 TDs. I have been very disappointed with them on both sides of the ball so far this season.

Campanaro has an injury on the 1st day of voluntary OTAs. This will give other guys a chance to audition for the role of punt returner. It's possible that we keep a 7th receiver to return punts. I clearly see Buck being the receiving back to fill the role that Rice had previously in the backfield. If he can be the one with gifted hands and YAC, then he will be the favorite at 2nd rb.

I think that this kind of signing is far better than throwing too much money at a FA CB early in the offseason. It looks like our biggest weakness in the playoffs is starting to look like a strength now.

The kick/punt returner job is up for grabs. I love it.

I would give this draft a B plus. Perriman would need to see some significant field time before he is ready to take over for Torrey. Williams is coming in as the number one TE regardless if Pitta takes the field. The guy has the size and soft hands to be that redzone and middle of the field target that we haven't had since the days of Heap in his prime. Davis is a solid runstopper who can be trained to collapse the pocket on blitzes. Smith is fast enough to record a few sacks and get noticed when he gets in the game to rest Suggs or Dumervil. I don't mind them adding Buck Allen just in case Forsett get injured. The rest of the picks still don't warrant anything less than a B+, even the small school gamble at CB. Boyle is from Delaware, so there is no doubt the coaches have kept an eye on him. Myers gives us depth during the usual grind on the offensive linemen over the course of the season. Darren Waller could be that WR that makes the roster due to his speed on special teams.

The main article I read about Flowers getting cut named potential landing spots for him and the Ravens weren't one of them. I think that he would be a long-shot at best. The injury bug would definitely be a factor in determining how we use our remaining cap money.

Canty is going nowhere this year despite the 2M. Besides, we need him to help our rookies (Urban and Lewis-Moore) to learn how to play the position before we turn them lose. I don't think he will be back next year, because cutting him makes more sense with a savings of 2.6M that can be used to sign other players. Hopefully by then we will have a clear idea if one of these other 2 guys are ready to step in to fill the job or we will have already gone out and gotten another FA.

Okay, let's see what happens over the weekend. I seriously doubt we are making any immediate moves on Flowers or anyone else right now. Let the guys put on the pads and hope no one gets hurt.
