  1. Unfortunately I don't believe it. If that was really the case and lets say the team didn't want him disclosing his injury so he wouldn't be targeted. The team should know, if he didn't tell him then he's a poor teammate and needs to go. If the team knew, you would think they would offer more safety help and not leave him on an island. Either way, not sure if I buy this whole story. Jimmy was awful, for his salary this year....Awful! Least he could do is give some of that money back for playing a quarter of the talent he showed the year before.

  2. Not sure who mentioned it but I believe what he said is true. Have you seen the buffer we are giving these receivers on the line of scrimmage?! A decent QB can see this and just audible a short route or slant and it's 5-6 yeards easy (and it has happened a lot). And then on top of it they still get beaten deep!! I really think the coaches need to let these CBs know just how badly out of position they are and how horrible the angles they are taking on big plays. That is of course if they even realise it for themselves.

What happened to Webb? He is a joke! And I'm not accepting the injury excuse, lots of guys are coming back from big injuries and playing well.

Maybe it is true. Our defence was just so well rounded in the past that the CBs didn't have to be as good. And of course Reed was patrolling deep as well. Made it easy on these guys

  3. Yes I believe that overall, our CBs are the worst part of this team....oh and they're the starters!! They should be the best guys on the field. I really liked Jimmy and was pumped when he came back but he is just brutal. And Webb is even more horrific, can he glue those dreads back on? I think he played better with the hair. He can borrow some of mine, I've been pulling it out all season watching him give up huge plays. CB first round pick please!!

  4. Get well soon Nick! "Next "Men" up! Utilization is the word in regards to TEs and WRs they are not being utilized correctly Marlon is too tall for short passes should go long every other play or double moves and pump fakes are not in the repertoire post patterns to created separation and if this keeps up other teams will pick the Ravens apart taking our players and coming back beating us with them! Stop getting 6ft WRs and not using them correctly because Antonio Brown leads the league and he is not 6ft his heart is!

I agree, thing is Marlon plays scared and quite frankly is just not that good. Not the way he's playing this year, out of all the receivers his mistakes and drops are the most glaring! No wonder Flacco was looking for a 5ft nothing Steve Smith in corner of endzone rather than him. Speaks to the confidence the team has in him.

  5. As a die hard fan I have a lot of emotion around this loss and this season. I have tried to keep my composure and look at everything rationally (although I must say that I have waivered a few times). Look, we have had a ton of injuries and a LOT of misfortune this season. It probably hurts more as well being an anniversary season too. So there is some explanation for the woes this team has had, and let's face it, this team is still trying to find it's identity since Ray and Ed left.

What I do not accept is the fact that these professional athletes that are paid millions to play a game that us fans would play for free if we have a morsel of their football gifts. Watching this group of guys is, for a lack of a better word, a joke. They don't have that passion, and a leader? Well Flacco isn't made of that cloth and until you can show a body of work on defence to prove you can lead, no one is going to listen. Yet I watch everyday these guys and coaches talk about positive thinking and determination. I've told myself to stop watching this because I can't stomach the cliches and saying all the "right things" And then they go out there and put out efforts like this. What made the teams of the past was drive and smarts. Ray was a beast out there for sure, but he was also the smartest player on the field.

The Ravens have had a lot of success over the years and we aren't used to this type of season so maybe I just have no idea how to respond. I will find a Detroit fan and ask them, but we need to face reality and own up to the fact that we don't have the talent and Harbs has no more Ray Lewis for the troops to play for.

Looking forward to a successful draft pick. Go Ravens!!

  6. Hi everyone,

I'm a huge Ravens fan from Canada and every year I add to my collection of Ravens jerseys, helmets etc. I'm a die hard Ray Lewis fan and my wife has bought me a signed photo which was the best gift ever. But my bucket list is to get an autograph in person.

This year on our boys football trip we are going to watch the Monday night game in Philly. I was thinking of wearing my Ravens jersey in hopes of possible getting Ray to sign it. Has anyone been to a Monday night game? Do you know if any of the guys sign autographs in between? Was thinking if I'm the only one with a Ravens jersey I should sure stand out. (sure the fans will hate me lol)

    Thoughts? Experiences with this?

    Thanks
