A little consistency goes a long way. Flacco coming back at full strength will help. Perriman getting a full offseason will help. If Moore develops and Camp stays healthy the receiving corps will be fine. Im somewhat concerned about the OL, but Boyle will do a fine job in Juice's role- especially in the passing game.

Boyle is one failed drug test away from a years ban. You can't just keep assuming these young guys will step up. We've relied on them before and been let down constantly on offense

After watching this guy vs Wisconsin, Penn State, and Florida State, I'm not the biggest fan of the pick. As people have said, he has a high floor but I think a very low ceiling. He looks NFL ready to me, but I think he is who he is. He's going to be Lawrence Guy, and that's it. I see nothing more than Lawrence Guy, and I'd like a little more ROI from a 3rd.

I think Ozzie sees Pernell McPhee in him. He has the capability to line up at any position -- and he did in college -- but the thing is he's average at each spot.

He's strong *enough*, he's quick *enough* on the inside, and his hand use is non existent from what I can see. He has a good punch but it doesn't look like he knows how to disengage. I'm not really seeing anything.

If you ask me, this guy would be most viable if he dropped 15-20 pounds to play 4-3 LE (and get some burst back) and then slide inside on third down. Even at his current weight, he's not strong enough to anchor or bull rush in the NFL, and he's too slow to do anything else. If he puts on more weight to anchor and bull, he will lose whatever burst he has. He's a man without a position.

Coming from the outside, he wins through effort and hustle. He's a hustle guy through and through. Nothing against that per se, but if you won with hustle in college, how do you expect to win in the NFL?

If you listen to the pressure hustle seems to be one of their highest priorities when they look at what skills players have

tbh im really not worrying that much.

flacco seems to play much better when he has veteran players around him with just a few inexperienced players.

there will still be cuts so we might find some guys who will fit in.

heck barnidge just got cut who would be an upgrade over what we have at TE for instance.

I'd sign barnidge as well. I'd also float correa and all our tight ends except pitta to see what oline or wide receivers we could get

I actually think the offense will be better this year than last year.

Unless flacco does a complete 180 it won't be..we lost our best wr and our starting rt and center.

Our best running back is suspended four games. Our only fullback who was actually very effective in the short passing game our co ordinator loves is gone.

If our offense is good flacco surely has to be in contention for mvp. There's no other way round it.

It will also take perriman becoming aj green

Yes our best pick by far!! I was trying to tell Flex couple days ago how big and strong his legs are. I have to post the URL. But his legs are as big as a 265lb edge rusher. His legs suggest his frame can carry 258 lbs. nice round number. lol same size as Peter Boulware our last true speed rusher was about 6'3 1/2 258lbs.Tim Williams being more explosive than Quinn is saying something!! One of most gifted explosive edge rushers I ever saw coming out. Better raw explosion/bend than  Garrett!!

Tim Williams could very realistically be better than Garrett. Crazy he was available there!! Makes Bowser obsolete. Should have picked JuJu there. Then this would be an incredible draft. I don't like Humphrey at cornerback at all. But I like the pick cuz I think when Weddle slows down Humphrey will set the standard for which Strong Safety's are measured

    Humphrey plays cb

  6. Trying to think of the first 3 rounds in the past 4 drafts:

Offense - Perriman Williams and stanley (3 players)

Defense - Humphrey bowser  tim Williams Wormley correa kaufusi carl davis Mosley jerrnigan Brooks elam art brown b.will (13 players - 5 dlinemen)

Even free agency has gone massively towards the defense. Jefferson Brandon Williams weddle etc

We have drafted and signed 15 defensive players to big money deal or in the first 3 rounds in the last 4 years!!

That's some draft and cap capital!!

I'm glad Ozzie & company are going back to what they've always done best- Defense. I think Steve B is also sending a message to Flacco with these defensive picks- the last 2 years have given you a 1st round WR, 2nd round TE and 1st round LT. If you're truly worth the money we're paying you then elevate your play and lead this offense.

Personally, I'm sick of hearing about how Joe's struggles are supposedly due to the O Line...or the WRs...or his RBs. Enough is enough- step up your game, Joe. Its your 10th freakin year in the league.

In the first 3 rounds of our last 2 drafts, 6 of the 7 players were defensive guys...to go on TOP of probably the most money we've had in UFA in a long time virtually every dime of it being spent on that side of the ball.

Deep defensive draft.  So everyone else reaches offense and Ozzie can't help himself.  We are going to end up with all defensive picks.  I wouldn't bet against it.

This was well known months ago. That's why it annoys me we went with Jefferson and Brandon williams. Should have went offense offense offense in free agency and then just defense defense defense in the draft
