  1. the olympic tournament isn´t for pros...

yes it is, you can pick any players you want, the only restraint is you can only have 3 over 23 year olds (i think thats the cut off age). You can pick all the pros you want as long as they are under that age, and Spains U21 won the WC, so naturally they will be favourites.

  3. City of God is a brilliant movie, i wasnt expecting much, butit was top draw. Has anyone seen the subtitled girl with dragon tatto? i hear its meant to be better than the US verison

All ya'll talking top movies and no mentions of Pulp Fiction? SMH!

Seriously though, I dont see how anyone can rank movies. There are so many good ones and for the most part they are all very different.

If I am making a list though here are some that would be on it: the aforementioned Pulp Fiction, Casino Royale, Gladiator, Inception, Pan's Labyrinth, Anchorman, The Big Lebowski, American History X, Fight Club, The Departed, Dark Knight, Scarface, The Godfather, The Matrix (original), Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, The Shawshank Redemption, The Patriot, Silence of the Lambs, City of God, Memento, The Avengers, Inglourious [profanity deleted]s, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Finding Neverland, Braveheart, Pirates of the Caribbean, 25th Hour, Children of Men, Snatch....and the list goes on and on.

  4. He can and will, lol. It's all opinion at the end of the day but 300 is hardly the best movie ever. It is pretty damn good though.

yea its opinion and i think thats why jon called him out, because he didnt say it like it was opinion. Personally for me i cant decide, but a great under reated movie, already discussed i think, is man on fire with denzel

  5. i think its ronaldo hands down. Messi just doesnt have the verstility ronaldo does. Ronaldo is one of thee best forwards in the air, he is one of the quickest, can get behind you, can shot in front of you, can go round, can head on you, he just has more in his armoury than messi. Ronaldo has a better scoring record, iirc, over 1 goal a game since going to real, he has alos done it in england at man united, im not so shure how messi would do week in week out over here tbh.

Messi is also pretty much one footed, whereas ronaldo is equally as good with both, which again adds to his versatility. Ronaldo is more complete, whereas, messi is better at what he does. Depends what youd rather have, but i think Barcelona and probably arsenal are avbout the only two teams messi could really shine due to how they play. Ronaldo would fit in any team, any formation, right left wing, lone striker, target man, playing off a striker, traditional 442..

  6. My understanding of the rules is, if you haven't been capped at senior level for your Country you can essentially become a dual citizen and play for another if you've lived in that Country for a certain period of time. I think its five years but I could be wrong!

Rumours are, Hodgson is fielding a more attacking 4-4-2 side with Carroll partnering Welbeck up front and Oxlade-Chamberlain dropping to the bench.

yea its something like that, its stupid anyway!

Still cant get over Redknapp being sacked

  7. I'm pretty sure Ronaldo had already played for Portugal's senior team when he signed for Utd so it wouldn't have been possible, but I understand your point. It's the same in most sports too, England's Cricket and Rugby teams spring to mind. Vinnie Jones playing football for Wales was always funny to me!

I meant eligibility like but you understood. It's ridiculous, its worse he in northern Ireland and republic because its fueled by religion....

  8. i think its absurd that rule in sport, not just roi/uk. Like if ronaldo stayed at utd for a few more years he could be playing for england. Personally if i was in control, first thing i would do is make a rule you have to play for the country your born in. Secondly, make howard webb the ref in all united games :)
