There has to be a defender between u and the goal when the person passing the ball touches the ball with his foot. It can only be one leg of a defender. Most of the tricky ones are like millimetres in it. A penalty and a free kick are the same in the sense a player has broke a rule ie committed a foul or handball normally. A free kick happens outside the two boxes at each goal. A penalty is the same except ot happens inside the boxes. A yellow card is given for a bad tackle normally or a cynical one like some faster player is running past u and u pull his shirt. A red card will happen for dangerous tackles potential leg breakers. Normally sliding in on the ball carrier with two feet and studs up. Or jumping lunging tackles and not sliding along the grass. The other way a red card would hapoen is committing a foul in a clear goal scoring opportunity like the player being through on goal and the last defender clips his heels and he falls. Thats a foul and goal scoring chance so it will be a red card and a free kick if outside the box on that spot or a penalty if inside the box from the penalty spot down the middle of the goal. Free kicks are spot fouls like defensive pass interference. A red card is an ejection from the game. Two yellow cards equal one red and an ejection
